摘要: Systems and methods described herein track bartering using distributed ledger techniques to, for example, facilitate the establishment of a bartering marketplace that enables users to barter for, and ultimately exchange, services and/or goods with each other. In certain embodiments, a monetary value may be assigned to each service and/or good to be bartered to establish appropriate bartering baselines. In addition, in certain embodiments, additional monetary value exchanges may be tracked for particular exchanges to make sure that the exchanges are fair.

摘要: An energy usage computing system includes one or more processors that are configured to receive data corresponding to energy usage of a plurality of devices within a property from a plurality of sensors. The energy usage computing system is also configured to analyze the data to determine an amount of energy used for at least one device of the plurality of devices, project an estimated cost of operation for the at least one device based at least in part on the determined amount of energy used for the at least one device, compare the estimated cost of operation for the at least one device to a threshold, and perform a cost-saving action in response to determining that the estimated cost of operation for the at least one device is above the threshold.

摘要: Authentication systems and methods using orientation sensor-enabled payment cards are disclosed herein where a server receives an authorization request from a web server or an electronic terminal. The server then transmits an instruction to the orientation sensor to determine whether the payment card has an orientation that is consistent with a predetermined orientation. When the payment card has an orientation consistent with the predetermined orientation, the server executes a first authentication protocol. However, if the payment card has an orientation that is not consistent with the predetermined orientation, the server executes a second authentication protocol that is more restrictive than the first authentication protocol.

摘要: Authentication method and systems using RFID-enabled payment cards are disclosed herein where a server receives a request corresponding to authorization of a payment associated with a payment card from an electronic terminal. The server identifies an electronic device of a user associated with the payment card. The server then transmits an instruction to the electronic device to cause an RFID reader of the electronic device to determine whether an RFID tag corresponding to the payment card is located within a predetermined proximity to the electronic device. When the payment card is located within the predetermined proximity, the server executes a first authentication protocol. Moreover, when the payment card is not located within the predetermined proximity, the server executes a second authentication protocol, wherein the second authentication protocol is more restrictive than the first authentication protocol.

摘要: A method may include receiving, via a processor, a request for payment of a payment amount from a first computing system. The method may also involve receiving a location of the first computing system, identifying one or more automatic teller machines (ATMs) based on the location of the first computing system, generating an image configured to cause the one or more ATMs to dispense funds that correspond to the payment amount, and sending the image to the first computing system.

摘要: An electronic device is disclosed that enables payment option selection by receiving a location of the electronic device from a location sensor and determines a retailer associated with the location. The electronic device stores a mobile wallet that in turn stores multiple payment options. The electronic device then determines discounts, rewards, or both, for the payment options, and compares the discounts, rewards, or both for the payment options to determine a recommended payment option. The electronic device enables selection of the recommended payment option to perform a transaction with the retailer, and performs the transaction using the recommended payment option in response to the selection of the recommended payment option.
