Abstract:
A filter suitable for use, for example, as an air filter for filtering the combustion air for internal combustion engines, having a substantially hollow cylindrical filter insert, preferably made of a pleated or fan folded filter medium, and end disks disposed at the axial end faces. A plurality of spacing contours distributed around the circumference and protruding radially beyond the projected end face are disposed in the region of one end disk in such a way that the spacing contours contact an inner housing wall of an associated filter housing when the filter insert is installed.
Abstract:
A filter element for filtering a fluid, particularly oil, in which the filter element has at least two individual elements (10), that are interconnected by a connector (11). The individual elements (10) each include two end disks (13) and a filter medium (12) arranged therebetween. The connector (11) has a radially circumferential sealing bead (23), which communicates with the end disk (13) of an individual element (10) so as to form a seal and ensures a tight seal between the individual element (10) and the connector (11).
Abstract:
A process for checking the tablet parameters weight, height and hardness by weighing and measurement, and to a device for carrying out the process as an individual device and preferably as a rotary tabletting press for permanently complying with preset tablet parameters. A process and a device for rapid, reliable, reproducible, and distortion-proof checking of optionally all parameters or selected parameters on one tablet and the overall checking of the weight on a plurality of tablets are guaranteed. This is accomplished so as to carry out individual and/or overall checks with a receiving container (1) provided for tablets (2), and the receiving container (1) is connected to stations (3, 10, 11) for the optional determination of the weight, the height, and the hardness of a single tablet (2), and from the receiving container, an individual tablet 2 and/or a plurality of tablets (2) are fed fully automatically to and removed from the individual stations (3, 10, 11) for determining the tablet weight.
Abstract:
A cladding section is provided for a passenger compartment of a motor vehicle. An airbag flap arrangement is located in the cladding section, and pivots along at least one hinge line during the actuation of an airbag. This type of cladding section provides that it have one stepped height difference on the surface relative to the passenger compartment, and that the airbag flap arrangement is located in the area of the height difference.
Abstract:
An airbag device is provided for a motor vehicle. The airbag device includes, but is not limited to a carrying part on the motor vehicle side and an airbag module of an inflatable, folded gas bag fastened to the carrying part and a gas generator for inflating the gas bag. The carrying part includes, but is not limited to a fastening section to which the airbag module is detachably mounted. The airbag module is fastened to the fastening section of the carrying part via a link guide.
Abstract:
A dashboard support part is provided having an airbag exit opening and a module fastening frame, on which a passenger airbag module is directly and removably fastened, the module fastening frame being implemented integrally with the dashboard support part. The passenger airbag module is fastened on the module fastening frame using screws and/or using projections of the passenger airbag module inserted into pockets of the module fastening frame transversely to a firing direction of the passenger airbag module.
Abstract:
According to an illustrative example of the present invention, a gas spring comprises a pressure tube, a piston rod and a piston connected with the piston rod within the pressure tube. The piston divides the pressure tube into two working spaces, the two working spaces are connected by a control flow passage. A control valve body is allocated to the control valve passage and is controlled through a bore of the piston rod. The control valve body contains an excess pressure flow passage. An excess pressure valve member is provided within the excess pressure flow passage and biased toward an excess pressure valve seat of said control valve body.

Abstract:
The invention concerns an instrument panel for a vehicle having a form stable plastic carrier, a cover layer, optionally a layer including a foam material, and at least one flap-like tear-open part for the airbag of an airbag module. The flap-like tear-open part is defined by separation lines and a hinge area. The flap-like tear open part is provided with a reinforcement having at least one flexible layer. The layer is provided with through holes, which are perfused with the material of the carrier in such a manner, that the inner most carrier layer covers over the flexible layer in the manner of narrow or shallow elevations.
Abstract:
In cryogenic applications a compression device circulates a fluid, such as helium, in a closed cooling circuit. The compression device includes at least one compressor, preferably a helical compressor, with a bypass valve connected in parallel thereto, which serves to decompress the compressed fluid. The suction pressure is measured with a pressure measuring device and is supplied to a control device, which controls the position of a powered valve spool of the compressor and also the position of the bypass valve. In order to achieve a high control performance with small bypass losses for load cases which are hard to predetermine, the positions of bypass valve and power valve spool are adjusted so that a fluid flow flows as a control reserve through the bypass valve and is on the order of a fraction of the total fluid flow.
