    摘要: An image sensor and a method for manufacturing an image sensor are described in which the image sensor includes at least one substrate having a plurality of light-sensitive elements forming a sensor field and first microfilter elements for wavelength-selective filtering of incident light. The first microfilter elements are attached to a transparent carrier made of glass or a transparent film, for example. A first microfilter element is situated in front of a portion of the light-sensitive elements for wavelength-selective filtering of light striking the light-sensitive element. No microfilter element is situated in front of a further portion of the light-sensitive elements.

    摘要: A method and a device for generating images in a motor vehicle. An infrared-sensitive camera generates images of the surroundings of the motor vehicle, line by line in scanning lines. The image recording region of the infrared-sensitive camera is illuminated in pulsed fashion by at least one emission source that radiates in the infrared spectral region. The recording of the scanning lines is carried out synchronized in time with the pulsed illumination. In a first example embodiment, the recording of scanning lines of an infrared-sensitive CMOS camera is synchronized in time with a laser diode emitting in the near infrared spectral region. In a second example embodiment, the synchronization in time of the recording of scanning lines of the infrared-sensitive CMOS camera with the pulsed illumination is performed autonomously by the CMOS camera by evaluation of at least one recorded scanning line.

    摘要: The invention relates to a MOS transistor for a photo cell, comprising a semiconductor substrate on which a gate electrode, a drain electrode and a photosensitive source region are configured. An oxide layer is arranged between the gate electrode and the substrate, and in the active region of the MOS transistor this oxide layer is formed as thin oxide film while it is configured as thick oxide film in a passive region. The inventive transistor is distinguished by the provisions that the gate electrode comprises a closed annular section in the active region of the MOS transistor, and that either the drain electrode or the photosensitive source region is arranged within the annular section of the gate electrode so that current will only flow in the active region.

    摘要: A method and circuit for compensating variations induced by temperature, strain and manufacturing technology in CMOS video sensors. Using at least two reference CMOS sensors, held at the same temperature level as the CMOS video sensors to be compensated and which are not irradiated, two reference signals are generated whereof one corresponds to a reference dark value whilst the other one, in response to the application of an electric current, corresponds to a reference illumination value. The reference signals are amplified separately of each other. At least one correction value is stored in a memory unit for each CMOS video sensor point to be compensated, such that output signals corrected by FPN (=fixed pattern noise) will be obtained. The FPN-corrected output signals as well as the reference signals obtained are supplied to the A/D converter where the output signals of the CMOS video sensor are compensated and converted into digital signals.
