If so, the service provider may communicate information regarding the location of the mobile terminals within range. The service provider may also communicate to the electronic device a map on which the mobile terminals may be placed.

A diagnostic client in the electronic device facilitates remote diagnosis and a traps client facilitates setting traps and retrieving collected information. A terminal management server may remotely invoke control actions within the electronic device using management objects not supported by the industry standard device management protocol. A user of the electronic device may use a self-care portal to administer self-care and to conduct diagnostics. A subsequent customer-care call may use such information collected during self-care.

The shower actuator includes a battery powered wireless actuated blocking valve, a digital temperature sensor mechanism, a temperature indicating mechanism and generally two independent one wireless controllers. The valve may move between a closed position, an open position and a trickle flow position. The trickle flow position is a significantly reduced flow in response to a potentially hazardous temperature reading. The temperature indicating mechanism may be a visible display on the controllers that constantly displays the measured temperatures, or may be a visible or audible indicator on the controllers that identifies that the flowing water temperature has reached an acceptable steady state temperature, or a combination of the two.

    摘要： A color display formed of information of one color on a different color background is projected onto a screen. Light from the bulb is passed serially through a neutral polarizer, a smectic liquid crystal cell, and a further polarizer. The cell comprises a smectic liquid crystal material incorporating an amount of a cholesteric material and a dye contained between two cell walls carrying electrodes and surface treated to give a molecular twist and alignment to the liquid crystal material. Information is written into the cell by scanning the laser beam over the cell, causing localized heating, in combination with or without an applied electric field to form selected areas with a twisted structure on a background of homeotropic structure, or vice versa. Thus plane polarized light is passed through the cell with its plane selectively rotated or non rotated. This provides a two color display of information of one color on a background of the other color. Alternatively the two colored polarizers may be replaced by a single neutral or colored polarizer to give a black and white or colored and white display. The display system may be replicated using differently colored polarizers and the resulting images combined into a multi color image on a single screen.

The audible alarm may be a progressive audible temperature alarm with varied levels of activation corresponding to the severity of the scald condition sensed. The display is mounted in a manner visible from any viewing height above the faucet. The spout cover features may be incorporated directly into a safety spout.
