摘要: A computer system and method are provided for the verification of functional equivalence between at least two source codes residing on at least one computer. A comparison is carried out between a source code and a modified version of the source code. The comparison is performed to determine the functional equivalence between the two source codes. The functional equivalence is determined on the basis of type, scope and linkage of identifiers of the source codes. The identifiers are extracted from the assembly codes of the source codes.

摘要: A computer-implemented system and method of intra-oral analysis for measuring plaque removal is disclosed. The system includes hardware for real-time image acquisition and software to store the acquired images on a patient-by-patient basis. The system implements algorithms to segment teeth of interest from surrounding gum, and uses a real-time image-based morphing procedure to automatically overlay a grid onto each segmented tooth. Pattern recognition methods are used to classify plaque from surrounding gum and enamel, while ignoring glare effects due to the reflection of camera light and ambient light from enamel regions. The system integrates these components into a single software suite with an easy-to-use graphical user interface (GUI) that allows users to do an end-to-end run of a patient record, including tooth segmentation of all teeth, grid morphing of each segmented tooth, and plaque classification of each tooth image.

摘要: The present invention provides for a monitoring system and method to monitor an analyte, including determining the presence of the analyte and analyzing the analyte; for example, cellular chorography and biological threats. The system and method use a fluidics apparatus (e.g., a flow cytometer), a computer, a probe synthesizer and/or an initial set of fluorophore conjugated probes to monitor the analyte. The fluidics apparatus is adapted to determine the presence of the analyte based on the intrinsic fluorescence of the analyte, and/or to determine the binding of the probes to the analyte in the sample. The binding information is analyzed by the computer by comparing the binding results with a database of information regarding the analyte. The information gained allows the probe synthesizer to synthesize new probes for a subsequent iteration of the process, wherein additional information regarding the analyte is gained with every iteration.

摘要: The present invention discloses a method, apparatus, and article of manufacture for providing information. According to one embodiment of the present invention, at least two data segments are collected. Each data segment is collected from a media stream, and each media stream is located at a different media source. Then, a composite media stream is generated by joining together each of the collected data segments. In another embodiment, the data segment is an audio data segment. The above-described invention has utility for allowing a user/listener to search for an Internet radio station by listening to a composite media stream.
