Abstract: The invention relates to a brake pad for a vehicle, adapted to be connected to a carrier around a rotatable brake disc which rotates around a geometrical centre axis, the brake pad comprising an upper side, a lower side, a friction surface extending downwardly from the upper side to the lower side and being adapted to be pressed against a brake disc, an opposite surface extending downwardly from the upper side to the lower side and being adapted to be faced away from the brake disc, wherein the lower side comprises at least one sliding portion configured to slide against a mating sliding portion of a carrier, wherein the at least one sliding portion extends downwards towards the opposite surface.

The inner race-forming part comprises a second rotational lock portion configured to engage with the first rotational lock portion to prevent the inner race-forming part from rotating relative to the central wheel support member. The invention also relates to a vehicle comprising such a wheel end assembly.

Abstract: A brake pad retainer system in a vehicle disc brake comprises a calliper bridge and a calliper housing supporting brake pads on either side of a rotary brake disc, wherein the system is arranged to hold one brake pad in position relative to the calliper bridge. The retainer system comprises a retainer bracket arranged parallel to the brake disc axis and extending across a back plate of the brake pad, and a retaining spring arranged along a radially outer portion of the back plate and extending between the retainer bracket and the back plate. The retainer bracket has an angled surface arranged in contact with a corresponding first angled surface on the retaining spring. The retaining spring has a second angled surface arranged in contact with a corresponding angled surface on the radially outer portion of the back plate. The disclosure also relates to a brake pad.

Abstract: A brake disc configured to be connected to a vehicle axle and to be squeezed between brake pads, comprising a central disc body (30), first and second disc plates (36, 38) releasably securable to the central disc body. Each disc plate has a wear surface and a disc body facing surface. The brake disc has a geometrical centre axis. Each disc plate has an inner periphery and an outer periphery extending from the wear surface to the disc body facing surface. A first ledge (60) mates with the inner periphery of the first disc plate, and a second ledge (60) mates with the inner periphery of the second disc plate. Each ledge comprises at least a ledge portion which is inclined relative to the geometrical centre axis for counteracting axial movement of the disc plates relative to the central disc body.

The disc plates are releasably secured to said first side and second sides, respectively, so as to enable the first and second disc plates to be replaced by other disc plates. A connecting member (64) prevents rotation of the disc plates relative to the central disc body, the connecting member extending from the first disc plate, through a passage (58) in the central disc body, to the second disc plate. Also presented is a vehicle comprising such a brake disc.

Abstract: A fastening device is provided for securing a plurality of elongated vehicle components to a first side of a vehicle structural member. The fastening device includes a first elongated strap member configured to form a loop around a first bundle of the elongated vehicle components, and a head member configured to be positioned on a second side of the vehicle structural member opposite the first side. The head member is provided with a through hole configuration for receipt of two portions of the first elongated strap member forming the loop and configured to allow tying of the first elongated strap member from the second side of the vehicle structural member. Moreover, the fastening device includes a second elongated strap member configured to form a loop around a second bundle of the elongated vehicle components. The head member through hole configuration is configured for receipt of two portions of the second elongated strap member forming the loop. In addition, the head member is configured to allow tying of the second elongated strap member from the second side of the vehicle structural member.
