Abstract: The invention relates to a brake lever (20) for a drum brake arrangement (12), said brake lever being designed for transmitting the movement of a cylinder rod (14) to a brake shaft (22), wherein the brake lever (20) comprises a first portion (20a) delimiting a hole (24) for fitting the brake shaft (22) and a second portion (20b), which is configured to be pivotally connected to the cylinder rod (14) and wherein the first portion and the second portion are offset from each other with respect to a central axis (X24) of the hole (24). The brake lever further includes a stiffening member (28) that extends along a direction (L1) contained inside a plane (P1) perpendicular to the central axis (X24) of the hole and that includes an orifice (32) for fitting the brake shaft (22).

Abstract: The invention relates to a wheel suspension control system for a vehicle. The system comprises a suspension device, a wheel end bearing, at least one vibration sensor and a processing circuitry. The vibration sensor is provided at or in the wheel end bearing for measuring vibrations propagated from the road wheel to the wheel end bearing when the road wheel travels on a road having surface variations, wherein the vibration sensor is configured to transmit measurement signals representing the measured vibrations. The processing circuitry is configured to receive the transmitted measurement signals and to control at least one suspension parameter of the suspension device based on the received measurement signals. The invention also relates to a vehicle and to a method for controlling a suspension device.

Abstract: A braking arrangement includes a brake liner, a backing plate and an attachment member for interconnecting the brake liner to the backing plate, wherein the brake liner includes a recess in a surface facing the backing plate, wherein the backing plate includes a through hole associated to the recess of the brake liner; wherein the attachment member includes a first portion engaging the recess of the brake liner, wherein the attachment member further includes a second portion extending from the first portion of the attachment member and forming a one-piece unit with the first portion, and in that the second portion extends into the through hole of the backing plate and engages with the backing plate. An attachment member and a method for interconnecting a brake liner to a backing plate by an attachment member are also provided.

Abstract: The invention relates to a method of determining that a failure has occurred at or in a wheel end bearing of a vehicle. An estimated value of the temperature of the wheel end bearing is calculated by a processing circuitry. A measured value of the temperature of the wheel end bearing is acquired by a temperature sensor. The measured value is compared with the estimated value by the processing circuitry. When the measured value deviates from the estimated value by a predefined difference or more, then the processing circuitry determines that a failure has occurred. The invention also relates to a system for determining that a failure has occurred.
