摘要: A display device and a dimming device are provided. A dimming layer is located between a first polarizer and a second polarizer whose transmission axes are parallel to each other. When the display device is in a first display mode, long axes of the liquid crystal molecules distributed in the first polymer network are arranged along the second direction, and long axis of the liquid crystal molecules distributed in the second polymer network are arranged along the third direction. The third direction and the second direction respectively point to opposite sides of a normal line of the first polarizer.

The display panel includes at least one ultraviolet sensing transistor and at least one control transistor disposed on a substrate, and a color film substrate including a light blocking unit; wherein the ultraviolet sensing transistor includes an ultraviolet absorbing layer, and an orthographic projection of the light blocking unit on the substrate covers an orthographic projection of the ultraviolet absorbing layer on the substrate. According to the embodiment of the present disclosure, the light blocking unit absorbs or blocks the visible lights to prevent the visible lights from entering into the ultraviolet absorbing layer.

摘要: Disclosed is a display device including a display panel, a reflective polarizing layer, a liquid crystal dimmer cell, and a first polarizing plate which are sequentially stacked, wherein a reflection surface of the reflective polarizing layer faces the liquid crystal dimmer cell, and a direction of a transmission axis of the reflective polarizing layer is same as a direction of a transmission axis of the first polarizing plate, so that not only a peep-proof function of the display device can be realized, but also ambient light with a large viewing angle can be reflected, which can further reduce the visibility of the display screen under the large viewing angle without affecting the display at the front viewing angle.

摘要: A display panel and the display device are provided in the present disclosure. The display panel includes a photosensitive display circuit. The photosensitive display circuit includes a light-emitting diode, a pixel driving circuit, and a photosensitive circuit. By multiplexing the light-emitting diode, can not only achieve normal display function under the condition that the light-emitting diode is forward biased, but also achieve light detection according to the photo-generated current following through the light-emitting diode under the condition that the light-emitting diode is reverse biased or no biased. This alleviates the need for an additional light sensor, thereby reducing the cost and size of the display product.
