    摘要: A plurality of image signals are obtained, which represent a radiation image of a single object or radiation images of the single object, and which have different frequency characteristics, each of the image signals being made up of a series of image signal components. The image signal components of the plurality of the image signals, which image signal components represent corresponding picture elements, are weighted with predetermined weight factors. The weighted image signal components of the plurality of the image signals, which image signal components represent corresponding picture elements, are added to one another, and an addition signal is thereby obtained. The value of the weight factor with respect to the frequency components, which have a low signal-to-noise ratio, is rendered smaller than the value of the weight factor with respect to the frequency components, which have a high signal-to-noise ratio, in accordance with the frequency characteristics of each of the image signals.

    摘要: Disclosed is a technique for correcting a pixel defect in the capture of two radiological images with parallax therebetween. Radiation beam is directly radiated to a radiation detector 15 in two radiographing directions, without passing through a subject, thereby acquiring two defect detecting radiological images. A pixel defect in each of the two defect detecting radiological images is detected in advance. A pixel position where the pixel defect occurs is stored in advance so as to be associated with each radiographing direction. Then, radiation beam is radiated to the subject from the two radiographing directions to acquire two radiological images for diagnosis. A target pixel which is disposed at the stored pixel position where the pixel defect occurs in each of the two radiological images for diagnosis is corrected.

    摘要: To acquire a high-resolution frame from a plurality of frames sampled from a video image, it is necessary to obtain a high-resolution frame with reduced picture quality degradation regardless of motion of a subject included in the frame. Because of this, between a plurality of contiguous frames FrN and FrN+1, there is estimated a correspondent relationship. Based on the correspondent relationship, the frames FrN+1 and FrN are interposed to obtain first and second interpolated frames FrH1 and FrH2. Based on the correspondent relationship, the coordinates of the frame FrN+1 are transformed, and from a correlation value with the frame FrN, there is obtained a weighting coefficient α(x°, y°) that makes the weight of the first interpolated frame FrH1 greater as a correlation becomes greater. With the weighting coefficient, the first and second interpolated frames are weighted and added to acquire a synthesized frame FrG.

    摘要: Sharpness is adjusted for more appropriately representing a predetermined structure in an image. A parameter acquisition unit obtains a weighting parameter for a principal component representing a degree of sharpness in a face region detected by a face detection unit as an example of the predetermined structure in the image, by fitting to the face region a mathematical model generated by a statistical method such as AAM based on a plurality of sample images representing human faces in different degrees of sharpness. Based on a value of the parameter, sharpness is adjusted in at least a part of the image. For example, a parameter changing unit changes the value of the parameter to a preset optimal face sharpness value, and an image reconstruction unit reconstructs the image based on the parameter having been changed and outputs the image having been subjected to the sharpness adjustment processing.
