Abstract:
A vacuum cleaner has a first and second cyclonic cleaning stages in series. The second cyclonic cleaning stage has a plurality of second stage cyclones. A conduit connects the first cyclonic cleaning stage outlet and the second stage cyclone inlets.
Abstract:
A water treatment apparatus includes a sand filter and a second stage purification step (e.g. ozonation). The sand filter is constructed as a plurality of individual components that are in fluid flow communication. At least that uppermost individual component of the sand filter is removable for cleaning.
Abstract:
An ostomy pouch is constructed in a manner to disguise its actual function by use of colors, surface textures, iconic perimeter shapes and/or iconic shapes applied to the surface of the ostomy pouch. The ostomy pouch may be made of a blue, red, black, yellow, orange, purple or bright pink plastic material as supposed to a flesh tone of thick current ostomy pouches are made. The surface of the plastic of which the ostomy pouch is constructed is preferably textured to give it the visual appearance of cloth such as linen, cotton, burlap, or canvas. The pouch is constructed to look like a small purse, a heart, a butterfly, a seashell, a teddy bear head, a teddy bear, a dog, a cat, or another recognizable icon to allow the pouch to become a decorative feature rather than a medical appliance to be hidden.

Abstract:
The present invention is directed to methods and apparatus that use electrostatic and/or electromagnetic fields to enhance the process of spray forming preforms or powders. The present invention also describes methods and apparatus for atomization and heat transfer with non-equilibrium plasmas. The present invention is also directed to articles, particularly for use in gas turbine engines, produced by the methods of the invention.

Abstract:
A surface cleaning apparatus comprises a dirt inlet, a handle, a cyclonic cleaning unit comprising a plurality of cyclones and at least one dirt collection chamber, each of the plurality of cyclones having an outer wall, an interior, a fluid inlet downstream from the dirt inlet and a fluid outlet, the at least one dirt collection chamber having an outer wall and an interior, wherein the surface cleaning apparatus is constructed such that the interior of the at least one dirt collection chamber is visible from a position exterior to the surface cleaning apparatus and a fluid flow motor. The surface cleaning apparatus may have a filter with a housing that is at least partially transparent.
Abstract:
A surface cleaning apparatus comprises a dirt inlet, a handle, a cyclone separator having an outer wall, a fluid inlet downstream from the dirt air inlet and a fluid outlet, a plate having a cyclone chamber surface and positioned to substantially divide the cyclone separator into a cyclone chamber and a dirt collection chamber, the plate being removably mounted in the cyclone separator, a passage extending between the cyclone chamber and the dirt collection chamber and a fluid flow motor.
Abstract:
A surface cleaning apparatus comprises a dirt inlet, a handle, a cyclone separator having an outer wall, a top, a fluid inlet downstream from the dirt air inlet and a fluid outlet, a screen positioned around the fluid outlet such that fluid exiting the cyclone separator passes through the screen and the screen is removable through the top of the cyclone separator, and, a fluid flow motor.
Abstract:
A frame assembly comprising a frame having a front and a panel to receive at least one piece of art, the panel having a front face having at least one first engagement member affixed thereon; and, at least one second engagement member adapted to be secured to a rear surface of a piece of art, wherein the first and second engagement members comprise male and female engagement members. A framed piece of art and a method or removably affixing one or more pieces or art to a frame is also provided.
