    摘要: An improved custom terminal connector that may be used in electrochromic devices, the connector comprising an elongated unitary member integrally connected with a U-shaped crimping member. The custom terminal connector may be used to supply a potential from a power supply to a bus bar clip of an electrochromic device. The elongated unitary member has a resilient backwall section connecting a plurality of first resilient sections and a plurality of second resilient sections laterally spaced from the plurality of first resilient sections. The first and second resilient sections are integrally connected with the resilient backwall section and are laterally spaced from one another such that the elongated unitary member generally forms a "C" and the pressure points of the custom terminal connector on the bus bar clip generally oppose one another. The U-shaped crimping member has an insulation crimp to aid in securing the wire to the custom terminal connector, and a wire crimp for ensuring electrical conductivity between the wire and the custom terminal connector.

    摘要: A rearview device having a rearview display. A rearview device attachment assembly is connected with the rearview display and includes a mount and an attachment clip coupled to the mount. The attachment clip includes a base and first and second opposing flex members extending from the base, each including an arcuate flex portion extending from the base. A connecting portion extends from the arcuate flex portion at an angle toward the base. An engagement portion extends away from the connecting portion at an angle away from the base. First and second protrusions project from the mount, each extending through first and second slots, respectively, in the base. The first and second protrusions are in abutting contact with the engagement portion of the first and second opposing flex members, respectively, thereby forcing the first and second opposing flex members at least partially away from the base.

    摘要: A mirror includes an electro-optic mirror subassembly, and a thin-profiled bezel attached around a perimeter of the electrochromic mirror subassembly. The electro-optic mirror subassembly is supported on a carrier by an adheringly bonded heater and foam tape in a laminar arrangement. The bezel may be bonded to an edge of the front surface of the front element of the electro-optic mirror subassembly, and/or may be bonded and/or interlockingly mechanically attached to an edge of the carrier. Alternatively, the bezel can be a strip of paint or thin coating material. The bezel can be molded in place, or can be pre-molded and elastically stretched to permit assembly. In one form, the bezel includes a laterally-extending fin that prevents seeing past the bezel into the inside of a mirror housing. In at least one embodiment, the assembly has no bezel or only a bezel on one edge.
