    Abstract: A catalyst component for olefin polymerization is disclosed, which comprises a reaction product of the following components: (1) a spheric carrier; (2) a titanium compound; and optionally, (3) an electron donor, wherein the spheric carrier comprises a reaction product of at least the following components: (a) a magnesium halide represented by a general formula of MgX2-nRn, wherein X is independently chloride or bromide, R is a C1-C14 alkyl, a C6-C14 aryl, a C1-C14 alkoxy, or a C6-C14 aryloxy, and n is 0 or 1; (b) an alcohol compound; and (c) an epoxy compound represented by a general formula (I), wherein R2 and R3 are independently hydrogen, a C1-C5 linear or branched alkyl, or a C1-C5 linear or branched haloalkyl. When the catalyst of the invention is used in olefin polymerization, in particular in propylene polymerization, at least one of the following desired effects can be achieved: high polymerization activity of catalyst, high stereospecificity of catalyst, good hydrogen response of catalyst, high stereoregularity of polymer having high melt index, and low content of polymer fines.

    Abstract: An egg substitute composition comprising wheat protein, emulsifiers, at least one fat or oil, and polysaccharides, and optionally supplementary proteins and food gums. The composition preferably includes 1-90% wheat protein, 1-30% fat or oil and 5-30% polysaccharides. Optionally 0-50% supplementary proteins, 0-30% emulsifiers, 0-10% food gums, 0-3% reducing-oxidant agents and 0-5% calcium and ferrous salts. The composition also includes 0.01-1% sodium phosphate and disoldium phosphate in liquid form egg replacer.

    Abstract: A method for the production of an arabinoxylan-enriched preparation from a pentosan fraction derived from a wheat flour comprising the following sequential steps: mixing the pentosan fraction with water to obtain a pentosan slurry; centrifuging the slurry to obtain liquid and solid phases; and drying the liquid phase to provide the arabinoxylan-enriched preparation. Also provided are methods for the production of: a starch- and protein-enriched intermediate from wheat flour; a glucose-enriched preparation from wheat flour; and a starch- and protein-enriched material from wheat flour. Furthermore, there is provided a use of an arabinoxylan-enriched preparation in one or more of: food, immune stimulants, prebiotics, nutraceuticals, pharmaceuticals and food supplements. There is also an apparatus for the production of an arabinoxylan-enriched preparation from a pentosan fraction of wheat flour.
