    摘要: A method and apparatus for realizing adaptive quantization in the process of image/video coding, which includes the following steps: acquiring the parameter information of the neighbor blocks of the current block; determining the quantization mode of the current block according to the parameter information of the neighbor blocks; and performing quantization processing on transform coefficients of the current block by using the determined quantization mode. Wherein, block coding type and motion vector of the neighbor blocks are used as the parameter information for determining the quantization mode of the current block. An apparatus for adaptive quantization in process of image/video coding is provided. The invention can use different quantization mode for adaptive quantization in different image content of an image sequence, thereby improving the subjective quality of the compressed images at the same bit rate.

    摘要: A method and apparatus is provided for implementing quantization in encoding/decoding. Firstly, the quantization on the picture transformed coefficient matrix is performed using a quantization parameter model, that is, the coefficient matrix is modeled as a parameter model represented by only several parameters, in which the parameter model includes two sorts of parameters, frequency band distribution parameters and frequency band weighting parameters. Thus, a quantization matrix conforming to the human vision system can be obtained by controlling the model parameters and the subjective quality of the encoded picture can be easily controlled. Secondly, the method does not need to store or transfer the quantization matrix in the bitstream which help to improve the encoding efficiency. Finally, the quantization on picture transformed coefficients using the method is well adapted to the content information of the picture to be encoded. Therefore, the present invention can improve the subjective quality of the encoded picture.

    摘要: The invention relates to a video encoding and decoding technical field of the signal processing, especially relates to a method for video clip assisted by clip identifier. The method defines a clip identifier on the video encoding and decoding rule as an identifier used specially for video stream clip. If the encoded video bit stream is clipped, then said clip identifier is inserted to the bit stream or used to replace the original identifier which functions as a start flag. The clip of the video bit stream can be operated conveniently by the invention. The features of the invention are: the bits, which mark whether the clipped video bit stream may be decoded and displayed incorrectly or not, are not required to appear in the unclipped bit stream; if it clips at a certain point of the bit stream, then said identifier will appear at this point to indicate that a problem in which the picture can not be decoded normally due to the predictive reference data being clipped may appear.
