摘要: Drive wheel axle assemblies (34, 34A) and caster wheel assemblies (94, 252) are mounted to a wheelchair frame (4, 222). One axle assembly (34) includes an axle adjustment tube (40) secured to the frame and an axle housing (56), defining an axle bore (58), toollessly mounted to the axle adjustment tube at any of several rotary orientations to determine the camber of the drive wheel (36) mounted to the axle assembly. The front to rear position of the axle housing can also be adjusted in a toolless manner using a quick release pin (66). The height of the front end (10) of the frame is changed, to ensure that the caster wheel pivot axis (96) remains vertical, without tools by mounting a caster wheel (98) at various vertical positions within a caster spool housing (100) without exposing the user to oil and grease on the spindle (120) and bearings (121). Another axle assembly (34A) permits the height of the drive wheels (254) to be changed without the used tools. The seat back angle can also be changed without tools by a user while sitting in the wheelchair.

摘要: An adjustable seat back assembly for a wheelchair of the type having a frame with an upwardly extending rear frame portion and an adjustable angle seat support which includes a pivotable front end and a rear end which is secured to said rear frame portion at any of a plurality of different positions. A seat back support is mounted to pivot on the seat support from adjacent its rear end. A link connects the seat support to a slider on the rear frame portion to maintain the position of the slider relative to the seat back support pivot as the seat angle is adjusted. A releasable seat back angle adjuster secures the seat back support to the slider at any of a plurality of positions. When the seat back angle adjuster is released, the seat back support may be folded down towards said seat support.

摘要: The present invention is an after-market vehicle-lowering steering knuckle (drop spindle) designed for use with a large-bore “live” wheel hub to lower a vehicle chassis. This is accomplished through the inversion and modification of the upper and lower ball joints as compared to a factory steering knuckle, and a modification of the bolt assembly for attaching the wheel hub assembly to the spindle. The present invention allows the factory-supplied upper and lower control arms to be used, providing a considerable cost savings to the end user. The drop spindle design described herein may also be used to lower four-wheel drive trucks.

摘要: A wheelchair suspension system has a resilient front suspension members and resilient drive wheel suspension members. The resilient front suspension members are attached to the front end of the wheelchair base frame assembly. The resilient drive wheel suspension members are attached to opposite sides of the base frame assembly in a spaced apart relation relative to the resilient front suspension members. Each one of the resilient front suspension members supports a front wheel and each one of the resilient drive wheel suspension members supports a drive wheel.

摘要: Techniques and systems to enhance digital acquisition devices are presented. The enhancements are available to the user in local as well as in remote deployments yielding efficiency gains for a large variety of business processes. The quality enhancements are achieved efficiently by employing virtual reacquisition. The method of virtual reacquisition renders unnecessary the physical reacquisition of analog data in case the digital data obtained by the acquisition device are of insufficient quality. The method and system allows multiple users to access the same acquisition device for analog data. In some One or more users can virtually reacquire data provided by multiple analog or digital sources. The acquired raw data can be processed by each user according to his personal preferences and/or requirements. The preferred processing settings and attributes are determined interactively in real time as well as non real time, automatically and a combination thereof.

摘要: The intermediate stateful database includes a controller (an archiver) and a plurality of tables. The archiver receives commands from a centralized command console, receives a command update request from a remote device, generates a plurality of commands in response to the command update request, transmits the plurality of commands to the remote device, and receives a plurality of results corresponding to the plurality of commands from the remote device. The archiver receives the command information corresponding to the plurality of commands and result information corresponding to the plurality of results and distributes items of the command information to a plurality of tables in the intermediate stateful database. Command identification information and associated command/error table associations are loaded into the command identification (CID) table. Command sequencing, command results and associated command identification information is loaded into the command (CMD) table.

摘要: Meat such as poultry may be rapidly cooked in a closed and sealed pressure vessel subjected to a mixture of superheated steam and superatmospheric compressed air at a temperature of least 400.degree. F. and at an internal chamber pressure of at least 15 psig fed from an air compressor through a heat exchanger. Water is mixed with the heated superatmospheric compressed air such that a mixture of superheated steam and superatmospheric compressed air is created prior to mixture entry into the interior of the pressure vessel. Preferably, meat is cooked rapidly at a temperature within the chamber in the range of 400.degree. F. to 600.degree. F. and at pressures ranging from 15 to 150 psig. A pressure relief valve coupled to the pressure vessel exhausts the mixture of superheated steam and superatmospheric compressed air to maintain the desired gas pressurization within the chamber.

摘要: A stringed musical instrument including a body which is formed from an elongated wooden board having front and rear surfaces. The rear face of the body is hollowed out to provide an elongated cavity extending longitudinally through a large portion of the body's length leaving a relatively thin top surface superjacent thereto. A fingerboard is positioned on the top surface of the body above the cavity and extends longitudinally thereof. Multiple strings extend longitudinally of the body above the fingerboard in engagement with bridge means, and means are provided at both ends of the body for holding the strings under tension.

摘要: A method and tool to smooth surface contours uses a fixed back plate mounted at a known distance to an actuator holding plate. Each of the actuators is mounted in said actuation holding plate by a support collar threaded into said actuator holding plate. Threaded with said support collar is an actuator holder with rigidly holds an actuator. A differential threaded adjustment device is then inserted through said fixed back plate and connected to say support collar and actuator holder so that each can be moved independently of the other. The actuator is made of two piezoelectric plates connected in parallel and separated by a silicon rubber o-ring.

摘要: An attachment ring assembly comprises an attachment ring adapted to connect a safety harness to another object and a connecting member attached to the attachment ring. The connecting member is attached to the attachment ring to have a first end and a second end extending from the attachment ring. The attachment ring assembly further comprises a first attachment member attached to the first end of the connecting member. The first attachment member is adapted to be attachable to a first strap of the safety harness. The attachment ring assembly also comprises a second attachment member attached to the second end of the connecting member. The second attachment member is adapted to be attachable to a second strap of the safety harness. Preferably, the first attachment member and the second attachment member are adjustable in position after attachment to the first strap and the second strap, respectively.
