摘要: A table saw including a base, a main table supported by the base, first and second rails attached to the table, a sliding table fixedly attached to the rails and sliding along the longitudinal axis of the rails and a cross-cut table slidably movable in a direction perpendicular to the longitudinal axis of the rails. The cross-cut table may be adjusted to ensure movement parallel to a blade protruding from the main table. An improved miter gauge assembly is also disclosed. An improved fence assembly is further disclosed herein. In addition, a table saw having an improved panel and leg construction is disclosed herein.

摘要: An improved and more versatile space divider system for open office interiors includes as a major component a structure beam or spine supported at each end by vertically adjustable legs. Feet on the legs provide the required lateral stability to support or hang components such as work surfaces, filing systems and the like from the beam. Each beam includes two enclosed electrical ducts on the top thereof superjacent work surface height, such ducts being provided for power and communication wiring respectively, with the latter being above the former and laterally enlarged. The power wiring duct is prewired with outlets on both sides, while the communications wiring duct includes both lateral and top access. The legs have a smooth exterior surface yet permit beams to be connected thereto at a wide variety of angles. Enclosures or fillets for the beams and legs permit the ducts to pass through the legs fully enclosed. Each beam may be provided with a midpoint connection so that one beam may be connected to and extend normal to the other without a leg beneath the point of connection. Posts extend upwardly from the beam from which hanger bars are secured for supporting further accessories or acoustical panels. Accessories such as work surfaces may quickly hook onto a recessed hook channel in the beam, such accessories having a movable locking tab to secure the hook edge to the beam.

Alternatively, according to a second aspect, the safety mechanism (14) is arranged to rapidly urge an extremity of the user away from the active portion (26) of the power tool (10).

Further, the miter saw includes a bevel mechanism for selectively determining the lateral position of the miter saw unit at any of a plurality of pivoted positions, including a vertical position where the saw blade is positioned substantially vertically relative to the table, and leftward and rightward pivoted positions where the blade is inclined laterally leftwardly and laterally rightwardly from the vertical position. The bevel mechanism includes a movable rod and three fixed stop members, the rod being operable to move between a first rod position abutting one of the fixed stop members and a second rod position not abutting the one of the fixed stop members so as to permit the lateral pivotal movement of the miter saw unit. The first fixed stop member is disposed so that the rod abuts the first fixed stop member when the miter saw unit is at the vertical position. Similarly, the second fixed stop member is disposed so that the rod abuts the second fixed stop member when the miter saw unit is leftwardly pivoted at a first predetermined angle from the vertical position. Further, the third fixed stop member is disposed so that the rod abuts the third fixed stop member when the miter saw unit is rightwardly pivoted at a second predetermined angle from the vertical position.

摘要: A chair control device for a tiltable chair wherein the chair control includes a a one-piece integral structure mainframe housing, including an integral extension for a seat locking cam means, for supporting adjustment mechanisms. The housing is affixed to the underside of a seat portion of a chair and, optionally, a tailpiece bracket to affix the mainframe to a back portion of the chair. Also included in the device is a tension control means to control the resistance of the tilt motion, the tension control includes an elongated bolt having a first end attached to the mainframe and a second end attached to an adjustment means. A compression spring is inserted on the shaft of the bolt between the adjustment means and the mainframe. The tension control means is adapted to control the tension of the compression spring. A seat locking cam to control the amount of tilt in a specific range by locking of the seat, includes a clutch means to control the tilt function to lock the tilt into position and an adjustment means affixed to the locking cam clutch and a release means for the back portion of the chair including a clutch means to control the position of the back and an adjustment means affixed to the release clutch.
