摘要: In order to improve a trailer coupling for motor vehicles, in particular, passenger vehicles, comprising a coupling ball, a ball neck, wherein the coupling neck can be pivoted with the coupling ball as a result of pivoting about a single pivot axis from an operative position into a rest position and vice versa, such that this no longer affects the ground clearance in its rest position it is suggested that a projection of a coupling ball central axis onto the vertical longitudinal plane undergo a rotation through an angle of at least 80.degree. during pivoting of the ball neck about the pivot axis from the operative position into the rest position and that a lowest point of ball neck and coupling ball in the rest position be at least at the level of a lowest point of the ball neck in the operative position.

摘要: In order to provide a trailer coupling for motor vehicles, in particular passenger vehicles, comprising a coupling ball, a coupling neck, the one end region of which is angled and bears the coupling ball, and a contact unit for providing a connection between a vehicle electrical system and a trailer electrical system, which is more easily accessible it is suggested that the contact unit be held on a pivoting arm, that the pivoting arm be mounted on a pivot bearing stationary with respect to the vehicle so as to be pivotable about a pivot axis and that the contact unit be movable with the pivoting arm from an operative position into a rest position and vice versa as a result of a pivoting movement about the pivot axis.

摘要: A trailer coupling for motor vehicles, in particular passenger vehicles, has a coupling ball and a ball neck. One end region of the neck is angled and bears the coupling ball. Using a drive motor, the ball neck is movable with the coupling ball from an operative position into a rest position, and vice versa. To operate as safely as possible, a control (e.g., interlock) is provided for operating the drive to allow either movement of the ball neck, or traveling of the motor vehicle, but not both at the same time.

摘要: In order to improve a support unit for motor vehicles comprising a supporting structure mounted on a rear end portion of the motor vehicle a sensor unit is provided for detecting forces acting on the supporting structure and elastically deforming the same. The sensor unit is provided with a sensor base, comprising two fixation regions which are spaced apart and can be fixed to mounting regions of an elastically deformable supporting structure portion. A transformation region disposed between the fixation regions mechanically converts the movements of the mounting regions, and thus also of the fixation regions relative to one another. Movements are generated by the elastic deformation of the supporting structure portion, into a movement of measuring points of the transformation region relative to one another. The movement of the measuring points can be detected by the sensor unit.
