    摘要: The invention relates to adhesives based on aqueous dispersions and surface-deactivated isocyanate particles and to latently reactive coatings, films and powders produced from such dispersions. The adhesives are prepared from aqueous compositions containing a) dispersed polymers with isocyanate-reactive groups; b) at least one dispersed surface-deactivated aliphatic solid polyisocyanate with a softening temperature of ≧40° C.; c) one or more compounds of elements from subgroups 5 and 6 of the periodic system of elements, in which the particular element has an oxidation number of at least +4 and, d) optionally further additives and auxiliaries.

    摘要: The present invention relates to a coating composition which is suitable for coating plastics and contains a one- or two-component binder and, as an adhesion promoter, a chemically modified crystalline, chlorine-free polyolefin, which has an average molecular weight of 1,000 to 8,000, a non-uniformity of 1.0 to 6.5 and a content of nitrogen, oxygen, sulphur and/or silicon in the form of chemically incorporated functional groups of 1.5 to 17.5 wt % in total. The present invention also relates to a process for coating plastics using this coating composition and to the resulting coated plastics.

    摘要: A magnetic flux leakage method and apparatus for inspecting magnetizable test objects such as pipelines are disclosed. Magnetic diodes are connected to give temperature-independent readings of flux leakage and are spaced apart according to the size of the flaws sought to be detected. Groups of diodes are overlapped to provide complete coverage of the area sought to be inspected. Certain of the largest signals received at any one time from the groups of diodes are transmitted to recording means to reduce the number of signals recorded. Diode signals are subtracted from each other to determine relative differences in detected fluxes. For inspecting pipelines, the diodes and magnets are mounted on the apparatus by mounting assemblies which pivot about three axes and the diodes and magnets are urged yieldingly toward the pipeline wall by members formed of open cell foam polyurethane. To aid in locating the flaws along the pipeline, signals from magnetic markers placed along the pipeline are detected and recorded with signals from flaws.     摘要: Preparations of surface-deactivated solid isocyanates which are dispersed in finely particulate manner, with aqueous isocyanate-reactive polymer dispersions that include a) dispersed polymers having isocyanate-reactive groups, b) dispersed surface-deactivated oligomeric solid polyisocyanates, and c) at least one catalyst, where the catalyst or the totality of catalysts accelerates the reaction of the monomeric polyisocyanates which form by the thermal cleavage of the oligomeric polyisocyanates more strongly than the thermal cleavage itself. The preparations are prepared by mixing aqueous dispersions of at least one isocyanate-reactive polymer with at least one dispersed surface-deactivated oligomreric solid polyisocyanate and at least one catalyst. The preparations can be used in binders, films and powders for bonded joints, or coatings and to make a latently cross-linking adhesive layer. Substrates can be coated with layers obtainable with the above-described preparations.

    摘要: Refrigeration units having internal parts containing a rigid polyurethane foam formed without the use of perhalogenated fluoro-chlorohydrocarbons are produced by applying a coating to the internal walls of the part in which back-foaming will take place, pouring a foam forming reaction mixture into the cavity of the part in which the internal walls have been coated and allowing the foam to form and set. The coating applied to the internal walls of the part in which back foaming is to be carried out is selected from one-component chemically cross-linking lacquers, two-component chemically cross-linking lacquers and lacquers based on aqueous polyurethane dispersions. The foam forming mixture generally includes a polyisocyanate, a polyisocyanate-reactive compound and a blowing agent. The blowing agent must include a partially halogenated hydrocarbon having at least one carbon-hydrogen bond and a boiling point in the range of from about -50.degree. to about 50.degree. C.
