摘要: There is provided a one-component adhesive composition that is excellent in the heat resistance, moist heat resistance, and creep resistance at high temperature (90° C.) of a cured product, can maintain adhesiveness even under high temperature, has a small temperature dependence of viscoelastic characteristics (storage modulus), and can stably exhibit adhesiveness in a wide temperature region, and a cured product. A one-component adhesive composition including an isocyanate group-terminated urethane prepolymer obtained by reacting a polyoxyalkylene polymer with a polyisocyanate compound, wherein the polyoxyalkylene polymer has a functional group that can react with an isocyanate group, and has a number average molecular weight of 8000 or more, and in the polyoxyalkylene polymer, a content proportion of oxyethylene groups to a total amount of oxyalkylene groups is 5% by mass or more and 60% by mass or less.

摘要: The invention relates to a process for producing xerogel composites, which comprises: (a) provision of a composition comprising an organic gel precursor (A) comprising a monomer component (A1) composed of at least one polyfunctional isocyanate and a monomer component (A2) composed of at least one compound selected from among polyfunctional amines and polyfunctional hydroxy compounds; (b) reaction of the gel precursor (A) in the presence of an open-celled macroporous foam (B) and a solvent (C) to form a xerogel composite; (c) drying of the xerogel composite by conversion of the solvent (C) into the gaseous state at a temperature and a pressure below the critical temperature and the critical pressure of the solvent (C). The invention further relates to the xerogel composites which can be obtained in this way and their use as insulating material, for thermal insulation, vacuum insulation panels, in refrigeration units or in buildings.

摘要: A method for the construction of an improved tank base. A tank base is constructed for protection against accidental spills and/or leaks associated with a tank battery. The improved tank base comprises at least one part of a suitable substrate, which allows for the adhesion of an elastomer such as polyurea. Polyurea is preferably applied using a spray device which yields an average coverage of about 50-80 mils, and most preferably 60 mils. If more than one substrate is used, one or more substrates can be bound together with a fastening system. Once pressure is applied in the form of weight, the fastening system can be removed, resulting in an improved tank base having at least one seam and impervious to the fluid of the tank battery.
