    摘要: Composite material composed of(a) a plasticized PVC substrate, if appropriate a fabric coated with plasticized PVC, and(b) a top layer composed of(b.sup.1) 5 to 100% by weight of a mixture of an acrylic resin and plasticized PVC, and(b.sup.2) 0 to 95% by weight of a fluorine-containing copolymer formed from vinylidene fluoride, hexafluoropropylene, tetrafluoroethylene and, if appropriate, a further fluoroolefin or fluoroalkyl vinyl ether,wherein, if the content of (b.sup.1) in (b) is 0 to 15% by weight, a sealing layer composed of the fluorine-containing copolymer (b.sup.2) is also applied to the top layer. The composite material is particularly suitable for structural units belonging to the field of textile construction.

    摘要: Fluoropolymer dispersions containing colloidal particles of a partially modified tetrafluoroethylene polymer, the fluoropolymer resin powder obtained therefrom by coagulation and a process for the preparation of the dispersions mentioned are described. The particles have a three-shell particle structure, the particle core and the other particle shell consisting of a tetrafluoroethylene polymer provided with a modifying fluoro-olefinic comonomer and the inner particle shell consisting of tetrafluoroethylene homopolymer. Fluoro-olefins, perfluoro-olefins, halogenofluoro-olefins and completely or partially fluorinated vinyl ethers are used as the modifying comonomers.The preparation is effected by the seed technique or intermediate letting down method, the modified core being formed in the first phase and the modifying comonomer being subsequently metered into the continuing tetrafluoroethylene polymerization in the second phase. The resins obtained are particularly suitable for the paste extrusion process for producing cable insulation and highly stretchable, unsintered tapes, and, after appropriate working up, also for the ram extrusion and the press-sinter technique.

    摘要: Fiber optics having a liquid core, which comprises a liquid of high radiation transmission, and a sheath made from a copolymer of vinylidene fluoride which comprises at least 20% by weight and at most 75% by weight of copolymerized units of vinylidene fluoride, and copolymerized units with at least one further fluorine-containing monomer are described. Suitable further monomers are, in particular, hexafluoropropylene, or hexafluoropropylene and tetrafluoroethylene. The fiber optic can, if appropriate, be provided with pigments or other coloring additives. The sheath made from the copolymer of vinylidene fluoride has excellent adhesion to other materials and can therefore easily be bonded to other materials.
