摘要： A molded coil device includes a coil comprised of a plurality of turns of a conductive material through a plurality of planes and an integral body comprised of an insulating and nonmagnetic material burying the coil. The coil is first formed and thereafter is sintered/pressed with the insulating and nonmagnetic material to form the integral body. The molded coil device is advantageously applied within an optical pickup actuator of an optical disc drive.

摘要： An optical pickup actuator having a printed circuit board and wire fixers for fixing one end of each of a the suspension. The optical pickup actuator includes coil connectors for connection with coils connectable to an external power source. The optical pickup actuator includes a blade having stoppers that are positioned to project from the blade between the wire fixers and the coil connectors so as to stop movement of the suspension wires during installation. The optical pickup actuator has an advantage in that a short circuit problem due to contact between the suspension wire and the coils is decreased, and, therefore, the optical pickup actuator facilitates mass-production.

摘要： An optical recording/reproducing apparatus having a label printer for printing labels on an optical disk and a method for printing labels on an optical disk. The optical recording/reproducing apparatus includes an optical disk drive unit recording and reproducing information on a recording surface of an optical disk, a label printer module printing labels on a label surface of the optical disk using thermal transfer, and a controller controlling a label printing operation of the optical disk drive unit and the label printer module, wherein the label printer module includes a ribbon cartridge in which a thermal transfer ribbon to which dyes are attached is wound and which is disposed to face the label surface of the optical disk mounted in the optical disk drive unit, and a thermal printhead transferring the dyes attached to the thermal transfer ribbon onto the label surface of the optical disk using thermal transfer.
