摘要: Methods and apparatuses for detecting deviations from legitimate operation on a wireless network. The method includes detecting a sequence of observable events related to operation of an entity in the wireless network, and determining from the detected sequence of observable events for a particular entity in the wireless network what number of idle slots occurred between two consecutive observable events to provide a first output. The method further includes obtaining a second output corresponding to the number of idle slots between two consecutive observable events for legitimate operation of any entity in the wireless network using the network transmission protocol, and comparing a function of the first output with a function of the second output to determine whether or not the particular entity is deviating from legitimate operation of the network transmission protocol.

摘要: Apparatus and method are provided for a group gaming platform for mobile devices in proximity. In one novel aspect, a Game Directory Service provides an ad-hoc game list to all registered UEs. A registrar UE collects locally installed games from registered subscriber UEs and updates the list based on trigger events. In another novel aspect, the Executable Distribution Service is provided to expedite the downloading. A game-host UE sends a united resource location of an installer for the group game to all invited UEs together with the invitation message. In another novel aspect, Remote Game Hosting Service enables a passive-client UE to play a group game without installing the game locally. The passive-client UE relays detected sensor readings to a passive-host UE. The passive-host UE uses peer messaging and scene streaming to run the game logic and to stream the scene sequences to one or more passive-client UEs.

摘要: Apparatus and method are provided for discovery and networking of proximate devices using acoustic messaging. In one novel aspect, a peer discovery protocol is used to discover proximate devices using voting messages encoded in ultrasonic waveform. In one embodiment, the UE receives one or more voting messages from neighboring UEs encoded in ultrasonic waveform, builds its voting message and broadcasts the voting message encoded in ultrasonic waveform. In another embodiment, based on the voting result, a multi-tier wireless LAN is established by the master UEs through two RF interfaces. In another novel aspect, an optimized synchronization by the receiver is used to locate the transmitted frame boundary of the ultrasonic message. In one embodiment, the UE reversed-looks up a pre-calculated boundary-offset table to estimate the tone boundary and searches the maximum synchronization tone energy down to per sampling interval using a predefined search algorithm to optimize locating the tone boundary.

摘要: A wound dressing comprising acylated chitosan fibre. The dressing has a wet strength of 0.3 N/cm or above. The acylated chitosan fibre may have a degree of substitution of 0.10-0.50. The acylated chitosan fibre may preferably have a degree of substitution of 0.20-0.40. The dressing may have an absorbency of 5-25 g/g of a solution containing 8.298 g/l of sodium chloride and 0.368 g/l of calcium chloride dehydrate as measured by BSEN 13726-12002 Part 1 Aspects of Absorbency. The base material of the dressing may be chitosan fibre that has been chemically modified through an acylation process using anhydride and ethanol as the solvent. A method of manufacturing the wound dressing involves reacting chitosan fibre with anhydride and making acylated chitosan felt through a nonwoven process, and through cutting, packing and sterilizing processes.

摘要: Aspects of this disclosure relate to a method that includes, in an example, sending, by a source device, display data to a sink device for rendering on the sink device. The method also includes receiving, by the source device, an indication of user input at a first display location of a touch-sensitive screen associated with the source device, wherein the user input specifies a modification of at least a portion of the display data rendered at the sink device, wherein the portion of the display data is rendered at a second display location of the sink device. The method also includes, in response to receiving the indication, sending, by the source device, second configuration data to modify the portion of the display data rendered at the second display location based at least in part on a mapping of the first display location to the second display location.
