摘要: In response to reception of a login request for the trade-in service, a Web server sends a login window to the client computer of a customer via the Internet (step S300). The login window has a trade-in ID input box, a mail address input box, and a ‘Login’ button. After entering a trade-in ID and a mail address into the boxes, the customer clicks the login button. The Web server receives the entries of the trade-in ID and the mail address and determines successful or failed authentication (step S304). In the case of successful authentication, the Web server determines whether preset days have elapsed since the date of purchase order to determine whether the current time is within an allowable trade-in period (step S306). In the case of the current time is within the trade-in period and prior to trade-in reception, the Web server executes a trade-in reception routine (step S314).

摘要: An order data obtaining device displays a list of components on a Web page, and recognizes components selected on the Web page, thereby obtaining order data of a product that is formed of a plurality of components. A turnaround time display control device obtains turn-around time information of each of the components selected on the Web page, and displays on the Web page the longest turn-around time in the turn-around time information as a turn-around time of the product. An accurate turn-around time is calculated in accordance with the selection of components, and a customer is immediately notified of the accurate turn-around time of the product. Thus, loss of competitiveness in the market due to display of a turn-around time being fixed and too long because of its inclusion of leeway is prevented. In addition, since an accurate turn-around time notification is immediately provided to the customer, customer notification of the turn-around time and handling of queries over the phone regarding turn-around time can be reduced, thereby reducing management cost.

摘要: The printing apparatus of the present invention comprises a scanner unit for reading an image in an original; an instruction unit for receiving an instruction from a user and instructing operation of reading the image with the scanner unit; and a printer unit for printing the image that has been read on a medium. In the printing apparatus of the present invention, each reading operations with the scanner unit is started by receiving an instruction from the user with the instruction unit when the reading operation is to be performed with the scanner unit for a plurality of number of times and a plurality of the images that have been read are to be printed in their respective predetermined positions on the medium. The printing apparatus makes it possible to perform N-up printing of a new procedure that is different from conventional N-up printing.

摘要: Diverse initiator modules, member modules, and terminator modules are provided to actualize various functionalities of a printer in various combinations of these modules. A data processing path controller DPC arranges a sequence of plural modules to execute a selected printing process. Each module is not informed of the structures of the other modules in combination or the details of the processing executed by the other modules. Each module that allows a relevant module to read data therefrom and each module that allows a relevant module to write data therein are designed to respectively have a specific function for the data reading and a specific function for the data writing. In response to a call from the data processing path controller DPC, these modules transfer pointers of the corresponding functions to the individual relevant modules and accordingly allow the individual relevant modules to read data therefrom and write data therein. This arrangement of the invention ensures consistency of an additional functionality, which is to be newly incorporated in the printer, with multiple existing functionalities.

摘要: A film fabrication method for forming a film over a substrate in a processing chamber includes a first film formation process and a second film formation process. In the first film formation process, (a) a first step of supplying a first source gas containing a metal-organic compound and without containing a halogen element into the chamber and then removing the first source gas from the chamber, and (b) a second step of supplying a second source gas containing hydrogen or a hydrogen compound into the chamber and then removing the second source gas from the chamber, are repeated a predetermined number of times. In the second film formation process, (c) a third step of supplying a third source gas containing a metal halide compound into the chamber and then removing the third gas from the chamber, and (d) a fourth step of supplying a plasma-activated fourth source gas containing hydrogen or a hydrogen compound into the chamber and then removing the fourth source gas from the chamber, are repeated a predetermined number of times.
