摘要: In order to ensure recording quality while suppressing the adverse effects due to performance variations among apparatuses and disc radial positions on an optical disc, an optical disc apparatus according to the present invention performs, at the time of data recording, the steps of: acquiring a jitter value and β value from a reproduced signal based on laser light reflected from the optical disc in relation to a disc radial position; learning a β value when the acquired jitter value is a minimum as a target β value; and, if a jitter value acquired thereafter is larger than the minimum jitter value by a preset reference value or above, correcting recording power based on the magnitude relation and the difference between the β value associated with the acquired jitter value and the target β value or performing trial record processing.

摘要: A viscous coupling includes a case body for forming a working chamber which contains the viscous fluid, a shaft inserted into the case body in such a manner that the shaft is relatively rotatable with respect to the case body, a plurality of inner plates coupled to the shaft, and a plurality of outer plates, coupled to the case body, which are arranged in the working chamber in such a manner as to be spaced apart from the inner plates with a pitch in an axial direction of the shaft. The pitch between each of the inner plates and each of the outer plates is adjustable by deforming either of the inner plates and the outer plates in response to the rotation speed of the shaft or the case body.

摘要: A compressor assembled under desirable working conditions at a low cost is disclosed. In the compressor, the first rolling bearing for permitting axial movement of the shaft is inserted into the first housing from the side where the compression mechanism is to be provided, and the second rolling bearing for restricting axial movement of the shaft is inserted into the first housing from the other side where the driving source is to be provided. The shaft is inserted into the first housing from the side where the compression mechanism is to be provided. A seal member is further provided between the rolling bearings for sealing an area between the insertion hole and the shaft, wherein the seal member is inserted into the insertion hole of the first housing from the side where the compression mechanism is to be provided before the shaft is inserted into the insertion hole.

摘要: A ratio of an erase current and a peak current when starting recording is defined as K=iER/iPK (S1), and iER11 is set equal to K×iPK1, and an ideal value iER11 of an erase current that should be increased according to a temperature change is determined (S2). A value obtained by subtracting a current iBT at a bottom level emission intensity when starting recording from a current at an erase level emission intensity after the temperature rises is defined as iER1. By measuring this iER1, an ideal value iER11 of the erase current is subtracted from iER1, and the resultant current is defined as iBT11 (S3). This iBT11 is set as an adjustment value of the bottom current, and a value obtained by adding this adjustment value to a bottom current when starting recording is set as a bottom current after change.
