摘要: An oriented polyethylene film with an excellent moistureproofness and optical property is provided in which the degree of crosslinking is uniform or decreases inwardly across the thickness of the film, and which consists of a composition comprising (A) 50 to 90% by weight of polyethylene with a density of at least 0.935 g/cm.sup.3 and a high load melt index to melt index ratio of at most 100 and (B) 50 to 10% by weight of a petroleum resin or linear low density polyethylene.

C.

摘要: Disclosed are oriented polyethylene films having specific elongation and strength, which are excellent in linear tearability and clear tearability, suitably used for packaging and produced by longitudinally stretching a polyethylene resin sheet in which the degree of crosslinking inwardly decreases across the thickness thereof at a draw ratio of at least 5 times at a temperature of not higher than the melting point of a polyethylene resin forming the polyethylene resin sheet, and laterally stretching said sheet 4 to 8 times at a temperature ranging from above the melting point of the polyethylene resin up to 10.degree. C. higher than the melting point thereof.

摘要: An oriented film is prepared by crosslinking a sheet of polyethylene (preferably HDPE) containing particulate inorganic slip and antiblock additions to provide maximum crosslinking at the surfaces of the sheet and minimum orientation at its middle layer portion, and thereafter heating and stretching the film to obtain an oriented HDPE of high clarity film of improved moisture proof.

摘要: A label comprising a polyethylene film in which the degree of crosslinking inwardly decreases across the thickness of the film and on one side of which printing is performed, and an adhesive layer further formed thereon. The label is good in clarity, is possible to perform back surface printing, can provide an integral feeling and a high-class feeling as if curved-surface printing is performed on a cylindrical container itself, is sufficient in rigidity and strength and therefore is possible to be thinly formed, is resistant to water wetting and contamination, is unnecessary to be stripped in recovering and recycling a polyethylene bottle when the label is stuck thereon, can be stuck on the bottle concurrently with blow molding of the bottle printed, and is therefore suitable for use as a label for in-molding. Degassing is carried out by forming an uneven surface on the adhesive surface, whereby the blister phenomenon can be avoided when the label is stuck on the surface of a bottle concurrently with blow molding of the bottle. When a primer layer intervenes between printing ink and the adhesive layer, the label excellent in the adhesive strength between the printing ink and the adhesive layer can be obtained.
