摘要： A method and apparatus for supporting mobility in a mobile broadcasting system in which Electronic Service Guide (ESG) discovery is required. The mobility support is classified into three ways according to three different aspects. The first way is to provide roaming information for a local IPDC operator having a roaming partner among local IPDC operators. In the second way, a terminal transmits a query message for requesting transmission of information on a particular local IPDC operator, and receives information on the particular local IPDC operator in response thereto. The third way is to provide the terminal with type information of an ESG; an access type of which is classified according to provision of a roaming service. The roaming information, the information on the particular local IPDC operator and the type information of the ESG, which are provided to the terminal from the mobile broadcasting system, can be provided in an ESG bootstrap level.

摘要： A method and an apparatus for providing a User Interface (UI) page in a home network are provided. At a first client receives a UI page from a server. A UI state of a current UI page is transmitted from the first client to the server or a second client to store the UI state of the current UI page in the server or the second client, when a UI state storage event for storing the UI state of the current UI page occurs. When a request for restoration of the UI state is generated by the second client, the UI state is controlled according to a capability of the second client by the server or the second client, and the controlled UI state is applied to the UI page received from the server by the second client.

摘要： A method and apparatus is provided for updating a User Interface (UI) by a Remote UI (RUI) client in an RUI system providing a UI to a user in a remote location. The RUI client receives a UI page from an RUI server, and renders the received UI page. Upon detecting a change in its capability, the RUI client stores a UI state of the UI page and requests the RUI server to update the UI page according to the changed capability. The RUI client receives a UI page updated according to the changed capability, from the RUI server, reflects the stored UI state in the updated UI page, and renders the UI state-reflected updated UI page.

摘要： Provided is a method and apparatus for providing a User Interface (UI) component to a second Remote User Interface Client (RUIC) incapable of directly receiving the UI component from a Remote User Interface Server (RUIS) in a first RUIC capable of directly receiving the UI component from the RUIS. In the method, the first RUIC discovers the second RUIC that will receive the UI component. Upon discovering the second RUIC, the first RUIC performs a device capability matching procedure between the RUIS and the second RUIC. After completion of the device capability matching procedure, the first RUIC provides the second RUIC with a UI component received from the RUIS and processed for the second RUIC, and delivers control information for the UI component from the second RUIC to the RUIS.
