摘要: According to one embodiment, a measurement system includes a wireless relay device, a moving-object-mounted terminal and a data processor. The wireless relay device forms a wireless area for performing wireless communication. The moving-object-mounted terminal is mounted to a moving object within the wireless area. The moving-object-mounted terminal includes a Global Positioning System (GPS) unit and a wireless unit. The GPS unit acquires positional data of the moving object and time data indicating the time when the positional data has been acquired by GPS. The wireless unit converts the positional data and the time data into a wireless signal, and transmits the wireless signal to the wireless relay device. The data processor receives the wireless signal from the moving-object-mounted terminal via the wireless relay device, and calculates time required for the moving object to move a predetermined distance within the wireless area based on the positional data and the time data.

In an optical connector 1 that houses a fusion-spliced portion 13, in which a short optical fiber 5 that is fitted previously to an optical connector ferrule 85 and a coated optical fiber 3 are fusion spliced together and holds the fusion-spliced portion 13 therein, one end of a protection sleeve 87 made of the thermal shrinkage material that externally fixes the fusion-spliced portion 13 is coupled to the optical connector ferrule 85. An air escape hole 7ffor escaping an air, which is confined in the protection sleeve 87 when the protection sleeve 87 is thermally shrunk and adhered closely to the optical connector ferrule 85, to the outside is formed in the optical connector ferrule 85.

摘要: An optical connector in which the housing property into a cabinet or the like can be enhanced because of the compactification, and which can solve problems of the increase of the bending loss of an optical fiber, the breakage, and the like is obtained. In an optical connector which houses and holds a fusion spliced portion where a short optical fiber previously fitted to an optical connector ferrule is fusion-spliced with a coated optical fiber, one end of a protection sleeve which armors the fusion spliced portion is coupled to the optical connector ferrule. As a result, the length of the protection sleeve which covers the fusion spliced portion so that the fusion spliced portion is positioned at the middle can be set with reference to an end portion of the optical connector ferrule. Therefore, the protection sleeve can be shortened, and compactification of the optical connector can be realized.

摘要: A target-pixel-setting section (31) sets a target pixel in a target image to be predicted. A motion-direction-detecting section (32) detects a motion direction corresponding to the target pixel. A pixel-value-extracting section (36) extracts from peripheral images corresponding to the target image, in order to extract a main term that mainly contains component of the target pixel in a moving object that encounters a motion blur in the peripheral images, at least pixel values of pixels in the peripheral images whose space position roughly agree with space position of the target pixel. A processing-coefficient-setting section (37a) sets a specific motion-blur-removing-processing coefficient. A pixel-value-generating section (38a) newly generates pixel values for processing from the pixel values extracted by the pixel-value-extracting section (36) corresponding to the motion direction and generates pixel values corresponding to the target pixel based on the pixel values for processing and the specific motion-blur-removing-processing coefficients. It is possible to perform a robust motion-blur-removing processing on any shifts of motion vector.

摘要: The present invention relates to image processing apparatus and method, a recording medium, and a program for providing reliable tracking of a tracking point. When a right eye 502 of a human face 504 serving as a tracking point is tracked in a frame n−1 and when a tracking point 501 appears as in a frame n, the tracking point 501 continues to be tracked. When, as in a frame n+1, the right eye 502 serving as the tracking point 501 disappears due to the rotation of the face 504 of an object to be tracked, the tracking point is transferred to a left eye 503, which is a different point of the face 504 serving as the object including the right eye 502. The present invention is applicable to a security camera system.

摘要: A middle pillar trim and a rear pillar trim positioned to the front and rear of a side window glass are each harder than a roof trim. A curtain air bag fixed to a rear pillar is deployed in a vehicle cabin while a predetermined end edge of the front of the rear pillar trim in the widthwise direction of a vehicle is deformed toward the front. The separation distance of the curtain air bag in a stored state from the side window glass in the widthwise direction of the vehicle is L1 (L2) in the portion of the curtain air bag along the rear edge of the side window glass, and L4 in the portion of the curtain air bag at the upper edge of the side window glass near the middle pillar trim, and the separation distance L1(L2) is smaller than the separation distance L4.

摘要: The invention provides a material for pressure measurement which utilizes a color forming reaction between a colorless electron-donating dye precursor and an electron-accepting compound to form color, and having a color density difference (ΔD) of 0.02 or more before and after pressurization at 0.05 MPa. When the colorless electron-donating dye precursor is included in microcapsules and the median diameter of the microcapsules on a volume basis is A μm, 5000 to 30000 microcapsules having a diameter of (A+5) μm or more are present per 2 cm×2 cm area.
