A station receives a channel access control message including group indication information indicating a group of stations allowed to access a channel from an access point. The station attempts contention for accessing the channel if the station belongs to the group indicated by the group indication information.

摘要： A layered channel access method of a Group Representative-station (GR-STA) in a Wireless Local Area Network (WLAN) system is provided. The method includes receiving a management, including setting information indicative of a first phase and a second phase frame, from an Access Point (AP), receiving a first radio frame from the AP or accessing a channel and sending a second radio frame to the AP during the first phase indicated by the setting information, and receiving a third radio frame from an affiliated STA of a group to which the GR-STA belongs or accessing a channel and sending a fourth radio frame to at least one STA of the group to which the GR-STA belongs during the second phase indicated by the setting information.

The method includes transmitting, by an access point (AP), a traffic indication map (TIM) element that announces existence of buffered traffic, wherein the TIM element includes an association ID (AID) assigned to a buffered STA having the buffered traffic when the buffered station (STA) is associated with the AP; receiving, by the AP, a poll frame for requesting data frame transmission from a candidate STA, wherein the poll frame contains an AID of the candidate STA and a medium access control (MAC) address which is a unique identifying information of the candidate STA; and determining, by the AP, whether the candidate STA is the buffered STA on the basis of the AID and the MAC address of the candidate STA.

The method includes: transmitting, by an access point (AP), a first traffic indication map (TIM) broadcast indication frame to a first station (STA); transmitting, by the AP, a second TIM broadcast indication frame to a second STA; transmitting, by the AP, a first TIM frame indicating that buffered traffic to the first STA is present; and transmitting, by the AP, a second TIM frame indicating that buffered traffic to the second STA is present. The first TIM broadcast indication frame includes a first TIM offset field indicating a transmission time of the first TIM frame, and the second TIM broadcast indication frame includes a second TIM offset field indicating a transmission time of the second TIM frame.
