Disclosed is a photopolymerizable resin composition. The photopolymerizable resin composition includes 40 to 80% by weight of a photopolymerizable urethane (meth)acrylate oligomer, 10 to 40% by weight of a low-viscosity multifunctional urethane acrylate oligomer, and 1 to 10% by weight of a photoinitiator. The photopolymerizable resin composition is cured by UV light to form a film whose shrinkage and expansion rates after immersion in hot water are low, leading to minimal changes in tensile strength and adhesive strength before and after water immersion. Further disclosed is an optical fiber using the photopolymerizable resin composition. The optical fiber undergoes minimal change in strip force before and after immersion in hot water.

Disclosed is a photocurable coating composition for an optical fiber. The photocurable coating composition can be used to produce an optical fiber having a low polarization mode dispersion (PMD) even by a non-spinning process. The photocurable coating composition includes a photopolymerizable urethane acrylate oligomer, a reactive monomer, a photoinitiator and an amine additive. Further disclosed is an optical fiber using the photocurable coating composition. The optical fiber has a polarization mode dispersion (PMD) of 0.1 ps/√km or less when produced by a non-spinning process.

An Ultra-Wideband (UWB) wireless communication system in a multi-user environment determines a threshold value to eliminate a signal pulse affected by a near-interference from among a plurality of signal pulses transmitted a number of times. A method for controlling an interference includes receiving the signal pulses, calculating a correlation value by applying a predetermined correlation mask to the signal pulses, determining a threshold value by referring to the number of times that the signal pulses are transmitted, a signal-to-interference-and-noise ratio, and information about a ratio of a near-interference to a far-interference, and eliminating signal pulses having a correlation value greater than the threshold value. The correlation values that are not greater than the threshold value are summed to detect a bit corresponding to each pulse signal.

This invention relates to a series of substituted cyclohexane containing analogues which are agonists of GPR119 intended to treat metabolic diseases mediated by GPR119 including Type I & II diabetes mellitus. Diabetes mellitus is an ever-increasing threat to human health causing various complications (blindness, kidney failure, neuropathy, heart attack, stroke, etc.). Recently it was found that activation of GPR119 which is highly expressed in pancreatic beta cells causes glucose dependent insulin secretion and GLP-1 release. Many pharmaceuticals are currently developing GPR119 agonists and herein we disclose alternative GPR119 agonists. Our invention describes GPR119 agonists having structural Formula (I), pharmaceutically acceptable salt or solvate of Formula (I), isomer or prodrug of Formula (I), and combination therapy of Formula (I) with other anti-diabetic drugs like DPP-IV inhibitors and/or insulin sensitizers.
