    摘要: An OLED display comprising a plurality of pixels, first, second, and third reference voltage generators; and a data driver, all formed on the same substrate is disclosed. Each pixel includes a subpixel of a first color, a subpixel of a second color, and a subpixel of a third color. The first reference voltage generator generates first reference voltages corresponding to a subpixel of the first color, the second reference voltage generator generates second reference voltages corresponding to a subpixel of the second color, the third reference voltage generator generates third reference voltages corresponding to a subpixel of the third color, and the data driver converts digital video signals corresponding to the subpixels of the first, second, and third colors into data voltages, and transmits the data voltages to the subpixels of the first, second, and third colors, respectively.

    摘要: An OLED display device which has a peripheral circuit and a display area on the same substrate and provides enhanced gamma correction is disclosed. The OLED display includes a plurality of pixels, a resistor ladder, a predetermined number of voltage selectors, and a data driver, all of which are formed on the same substrate. The resistor ladder includes a plurality of resistors arranged in series between a highest reference voltage and a lowest reference voltage. Each of the voltage selectors includes a plurality of switches coupled to the resistor ladder at a plurality of nodes such that a reference voltage is selected from a plurality of voltages. The data driver is configured to convert a grayscale video signal to a data voltage using the selected reference voltage and to transmit the data voltage to one of the pixels.

    摘要: An organic light emitting display includes a pixel unit including pixels coupled to scan lines, control lines, data lines, and first and second power sources, a control line driver for providing control signals to the pixels through the control lines, a scan driver for providing scan signals to the pixels through the scan lines, a data driver for providing data signals to the pixels through data lines, and a first power source driver for applying the first power source to the pixels. The first power source driver sets the first power source as a voltage in a low level in a first period in one frame period. The first power source is set as a high level voltage in second and third periods in one frame period. Therefore, it is possible to compensate for deviation in the threshold voltages generated between the driving transistors included in the pixels.

    摘要: An organic light emitting display (OLED) device having a demultiplexer and a method of operating the OLED are disclosed. In the OLED device, each pixel column is provided two data lines, and each data line is connected to odd or even row pixels of the column. Accordingly, a data signal can be supplied to one of the data lines during one scan period, and transmitted to the corresponding pixels during a next scan period. Thus, because the data driver is only driving half the pixels of the column, the driving time is reduced.
