    摘要: An electric circuit unit includes a through-hole type plate on one side of which is printed an electrical circuit including switch terminals and on the other side of which are attached electrical circuit elements such as resistors, capacitors and semiconductor elements. An electrically-insulating protective cover is attached to the plate so as to cover the switch terminals provided on the plate. The protective cover supports elements which include movable switch contacts which are engageable with the switch terminals provided on the plate.

    摘要: For a photographic lens movable from a first position toward a second position by a shutter release action, the first position is set outside the actual focusing range of the lens from the nearest focused position to the infinity focused position to render the lens pre-movable over a specified distance from the first position to the actual focusing range. Lens position signal generating means operatively related to the movement of the lens generates an electric signal corresponding to the position to which the lens is moved. During the pre-movement of the lens, the position signal generating means emits a signal for initiating a data recording light source into operation so that the light source can be lighted for a substantially prolonged period of time.

    摘要: A camera has a function of recording sounds as well as recording images. In this camera, in a self mode in which photographing is executed using a self timer, sounds are recorded during counting of the self timer and in a usual photographing mode in which no self timer is used, sounds are recorded after completion of the photographing. These two modes are changed over automatically according to a selection of one mode. When a user fails to record sounds in the sound recording operation in this camera, the sounds in correspondence with related recorded images can be recorded again from the beginning by operating a reset means. Further, the recording time can be elongated by operating a means for changing over the recording mode during the sound recording operation.

    摘要: In an electronic camera having a photographic objective lens, a blocking member is disposed in the path of a propagation of a bundle of light rays from an object. The blocking member is adapted to prevent the bundle of rays from impinging on an image pickup device except during a photographic operation. The blocking member is retractable from the path to permit the bundle of rays to be incident on the image pickup device. A photoelectric conversion circuit includes photoelectric conversion elements arranged in the form of a matrix. A charge control circuit controls the amount of charges to be stored in the photoelectric conversion circuit while the blocking member is completely retracted from the path. An image processing circuit produces an image signal based on the amount of stored charges.

    摘要: A camera including a lens cover and provided with a plurality of picture taking modes. The camera has the capability for outputting a signal representing that the lens cover is open or closed, for selecting one of the plurality of picture taking modes and for sending a photographic film. The camera has a first display portion for displaying the picture taking mode selected and a second display portion for displaying information of the photographic film loaded in the camera. The operation of the camera is controlled according to the picture taking mode selected and such control of the operation of the camera is inhibited while a signal is output representing that the lens cover is closed. While a signal is output representing that the lens cover is open, the first display portion displays the picture taking mode selected; and while a signal is output representing that the lens cover is closed the first display portion is inhibited from displaying the picture taking mode selected. The displaying of information of the photographic film and the sending of the photographic film can be accomplished independent of the signal representing that the lens cover is open or closed.

    摘要: A contralight compensation exposure control system which determines as a contralight condition and fires a strobe when there is a difference between the output of a partial light measuring means for measuring the brightness of a portion of a scene to be photographed i.e. the brightness of the main object such as a person, and the output of an average light measuring means for measuring the brightness of comparatively large area of the scene i.e. the brightness of the subordinate object such as the background of the main object. The control circuit of the system inhibits the strobe firing and actuates an exposure compensation means to shift the controlled exposure to the overexposure side when a detecting means detect uncompletion of charging of the main capacitor for firing the strobe even if the contralight condition is detected.

    摘要: A data reading device for a camera can provide a data being accurate with high probability through repeated data reading of a code pattern on a film cartridge even in hard conditions, such as a condition where contact between contact terminals of the device and code regions of the code pattern is unstable and a condition where the resistance value of a conductive code region is comparatively high or varies with the area on which the corresponding contact terminal abuts. In one operation example of an embodiment, the device discriminates consistency and inconsistency between the contents of the successively read data bit by bit and substitutes the contents of the later read data discriminated as being inconsistent for those of the previously read data only when the inconsistency discriminated contents of the later read data indicate conduction of the corresponding code regions. The previously read data is thus renewed again and again so as to more accurately correspond to the data indicated by the code regions of the code pattern.
