A condensation curable silicone rubber composition is provided which is able to suppress increases in viscosity over time, has an adequate pot life and excellent mold releasability, and displays favorable urethane molding durability. The composition includes: (A) an organopolysiloxane represented by a general formula (I), wherein, each R1 represents, independently, a substituted or unsubstituted monovalent hydrocarbon group, and n represents a number which results in a viscosity at 25° C. of 100 to 500,000 mm2/s, with a viscosity at 25° C. of 100 to 500,000 mm2/s; (B) a surface-treated reinforcing fine silica powder with a specific surface area as measured by a BET method of at least 50 m2/g, and a tap density of 0.2 to 0.4 g/ml, which has undergone treatment with an organosilicon compound to produce a quantity of surface carbon of at least 2.5% by weight; and (C) a tin compound-based curing catalyst.

There is disclosed an electrostatic holding apparatus in which a voltage is applied to an electrode formed of a conductive layer disposed on an insulator layer and covered with an insulating dielectric layer in order to cause the insulating dielectric layer to electrostatically attract an object. The electrostatic holding apparatus is formed of a sintered body in which a thermal expansion mitigating layer is disposed between the insulating dielectric layer and the conductive layer and/or between the conductive layer and the insulator layer. The insulating dielectric layer, the conductive layer, the insulator layer, and the thermal expansion mitigating layer are superposed and press-formed in an unfired state to obtain a green body, which is then sintered to obtain the sintered body. An insulating dielectric layer, a conductive layer and an insulator layer are united while differences in coefficient of thermal expansion among these layers are minimized in order to prevent generation of inter-layer delamination, cracks, and the like, and in order to prevent generation of distortion or warping on the electrostatic attraction surface to thereby increase the electrostatic attraction force. Further, the electrostatic holding apparatus has an excellent capability of allowing removal of an object at the time of stopping application of voltage and an increased withstand voltage.

The output correction section includes an available output computing unit for computing the maximum available output power value of the fuel cell on the basis of the detected flow rate of fuel gas flowing into the fuel cell or fuel exhaust gas flowing out of the fuel cell; a low level selector for selecting either the computed maximum available output power value or the output power set value, whichever is the lower; and an output correction regulator for supplying the output control regulator with a signal for correcting the output power set value so as to control the detected output current from the fuel cell as close to the current value corresponding to the output current value of the low level selector as possible.

A position and size of an original which do not require a stable light amount of the original illumination lamp are read during a forwards pre-scanning operation period (tps) during which the light amount is unstable after the start of the pre-scanning. During the period (tacs1) after a timing (t1) when the light amount becomes stable during the forwards pre-scanning operation, an original color information is read from an area of the original from which the color information cannot be read during the backwards pre-scanning operation. Accordingly, the total time required for the pre-scanning operation can be made shorter than that required by a conventional pre-scanning operation which reads the original information and color information only during the forwards pre-scanning operation.

The metallic element is Mo or W. In the electrostatic holding apparatus, since the volume resistivity of an insulating dielectric layer of an electrostatic attraction portion is decreased, a strong electrostatic force can be generated. Also, there can be maintained the capability of allowing removal of an object at the time of stopping application of voltage. Further, since neither fine cracks nor pores remain in the insulating dielectric layer after sintering, the withstand voltage is high.
