摘要： The apparatus herein provided includes a plurality of systems including driving circuits (20a, 20b) for driving motor coils (3a, 3b) corresponding thereto, and a control unit (10) for controlling control values of the driving circuits (20a, 20b) wherein, when a fault occurs in at least one of the plurality of systems including the motor coils (3a, 3b), the control unit (10) decreases a control value of a system(s) in which the fault occurs from an ordinary time control value or stops the drive by the system(s) in which the fault occurs, and also increases a control value of another system(s) in which the fault does not occur to more than an ordinary time control value.

摘要： Provided are a motor controller for suppressing a torque pulsation with a simple configuration and obtaining a sufficient output torque in the case of an open-type fault occurring in any one of windings of a motor and inverters, and an electric power steering device using the motor controller. In the motor controller for controlling a current supplied from and a voltage applied from a power source with respect to the motor including winding sets of a plurality of systems, when a fault determination unit (31) determines the occurrence of the open-type fault, the supply of the currents to the windings of one of the systems in which the fault has occurred is stopped by control performed on switching elements included in the inverter of the faulty system, whereas the supply of the currents to the windings of the normal system in which the fault has not occurred is continued.

摘要： A power inverter is provided that can apply to an AC rotary machine three-phase voltages of high amplitudes and low distortion while suppressing ohmic loss attributed to current detection resisters. The power inverter includes a superimposed voltage command computing means for computing and outputting a superimposed voltage command depending on the difference between a maximum value and a minimum value of three-phase voltage commands; a voltage command modification means for adding the superimposed voltage command to each of the three-phase voltage commands and outputting modified three-phase voltage commands; and a power output means for outputting the three-phase voltages based on the modified three-phase voltage commands.

The voltage application means applies a voltage to an AC rotary machine on the basis of the three-phase voltage commands from the voltage command output means.
