    摘要: A system and method of controlling an electric motor using a motor drive controller are provided. The motor drive controller includes a rectifier configured to convert an AC input voltage to a DC voltage, a DC bus electrically coupled to the rectifier, an inverter electrically coupled to the DC bus and configured to generate an AC voltage to drive the electric motor, and a control unit. The control unit includes a sign calculation module configured to determine a polarity of each phase of a reference current command and a compensation module configured to generate a voltage compensation command signal using one of the determined polarities of the reference current command and a measured current, and one of a measurement of DC bus voltage and a constant DC bus voltage value, the voltage compensation signal compensating the drive controller to neutralize a deadtime effect.

    摘要: A method for controlling a position of an actuating element, to which a restoring force is applied, in an actuator system having an electronically commutated electrical machine, includes controlling the position of the actuating element as a function of a predefined setpoint position specification and an actual position specification. A position control unit provides an actuating variable which is associated with a space vector with which a stator arrangement of the electrical machine can be driven. The method further includes applying a correction variable to the space vector in order to correct a space vector angle of the space vector; providing an auxiliary signal; varying the space vector angle of the space vector, which is defined by the actuating variable, by the auxiliary signal; and integrating a variable to give an integration value.

    摘要: A method of estimating the position of a rotor of an electric motor comprises producing an output signal indicative of motor position using a position sensor which comprises a detector and at least one encoder which rotates along with the rotor of the motor and includes a plurality of encoding regions, the output signal of the sensor varying in a stepwise fashion as the encoding regions move past the detector, and passing the output of the sensor through a smoothing algorithm to produce an estimated position signal, the algorithm being arranged to smooth the transition between the steps in the output of the sensor by causing the estimated position signal to lag behind the output of the sensor following a step change in the output of the sensor.

    摘要: A current vector controlled synchronous reluctance motor and control method thereof, wherein the motor has a coil on each of the teeth. The coils form a U-phase winding, a V-phase winding and a W-phase winding. The phase windings receive a balanced three-phase current vector to induce closed magnetic field lines, such that the coils induce same magnetic poles adjacent to the rotor unit. Two short magnetic routes are formed along three adjacent teeth and the rotor unit. The efficiency of the reluctance motor is high.
