    摘要: An audio signal compression apparatus for compressively coding an input audio signal comprises a time-to-frequency transformation unit for transforming the input audio signal to a frequency domain signal; a spectrum envelope calculation unit for calculating a spectrum envelope having different resolutions for different frequencies, from the input audio signal, using a weighting function on frequency based on human auditory characteristics; a normalization unit for normalizing the frequency domain signal using the spectrum envelope to obtain a residual signal; a power normalization unit for normalizing the residual signal by the power; an auditory weighting calculation unit for calculating weighting coefficients on frequency, based on the spectrum of the input audio signal and human auditory characteristics; and a multi-stage quantization device having plural stages of vector quantizers connected in series, to which the normalized residual signal is input, and at least one of the vector quantizers quantizing the residual signal using the weighting coefficients. Therefore, a low frequency band, which is auditively important, can be analyzed with a higher frequency resolution as compared with a high frequency band, whereby efficient signal compression utilizing human auditory characteristics is realized.

    摘要: A normal image quality coding unit generates normal-quality compressed moving image data by compressing moving image data generated by capturing an image around a vehicle with a normal image quality. A high image quality coding unit generates high-quality compressed moving image data by compressing the moving image data with an image quality higher than the normal image quality. The normal-quality compressed moving image data is recorded in a normal image quality data storage unit. A trigger detection unit detects an abnormal condition which possibly happens to the vehicle currently travelling. A high image quality data storage unit records therein the high-quality compressed moving image data based on a timing by which the abnormal condition is detected by the trigger detection unit.

    摘要: Disclosed is an olefin polymer of having a number average molecular weight of 500 to 50,000 and having an acid anhydride group only at a terminal thereof, and a resin composition containing the olefin polymer. When the olefin polymer having an acid anhydride group only at a terminal thereof is blended with a polyamide, a resin composition having extremely improved toughness, particularly in tensile elongation as compared to the polyamide alone can be obtained. Further, when a ternary composition is prepared by blending the olefin polymer of the present invention as component (A), a polyamide as component (B) and an olefin-containing polymer other than the olefin polymer [component (A)] as component (C), component (A) acts as a compatibility agent between component (B) and a component (C), so that the efficiency of dispersion of component (C) in component (B), or of component (B) in component (C), is improved, and a resin composition having markedly improved toughness (tensile elongation and impact resistance), LLC resistance and low water absorption properties can be obtained.
