摘要: An inter-frame adaptive prediction system for television signals is disclosed in which a prediction value P.sub.1 for a picture element 1 in the current field is newly produced, through using prediction values P.sub.OPT and P.sub.MED obtained by the following two procedures. In a first procedure, the intra-field prediction (a prediction value X.sub.N), the inter-field prediction (a prediction value X.sub.K) and the inter-frame prediction (a prediction value X.sub.F) are performed for a picture element temporally ahead of the picture element in the current field F.sub.0, for instance, the picture element 2, and a prediction circuit which yields a prediction value closer to the picture element value X.sub.2 of the picture element 2 than the prediction values of any other prediction parts is selected, and a prediction value X.sub.1S for the picture element 1 obtainable from the selected prediction circuit is obtained and is used as the prediction value P.sub.OPT.In a second procedure, the intra-field prediction, the inter-field prediction and the inter-frame prediction are carried out for the picture element 1, and prediction values obtained from the three prediction circuits are compared in magnitude with one another to obtain a prediction value corresponding to a median, which value is used as the prediction value P.sub.MED.Therefore, for a picture signal such that the moving and stationary parts are clearly distinguished in the picture, P.sub.OPT obtained by the procedure 1 provides a prediction value close to the true value. On the other hand, for a picture signal such that the moving and stationary parts are not clearly distinguished in the picture, a weighed mean value of the predicted values P.sub.OPT and P.sub.MED is employed.

摘要: A television signal coding system which achieves stable coding efficiency in both stationary and moving picture. This invention is directed to such a predictive coding system in which for predicting a first picture element in a certain field, use is made of sampled values of a second picture element lying next to the first picture element on the left on the same line and picture elements in the same field such as the third and fourth picture elements lying on the line second as counted upwardly from the line of the first picture element and sampled values of picture elements on the line immediately underlying the line of the first and second picture elements but in the previous field. In this invention, a comparison operation is made between restored values obtained by the intra-field predictive coding and the inter-field predictive coding, and one of coders which has provided a restored value closer to a true picture element value is adaptively used as an input signal coder. This makes it possible to utilize high coding efficiency by the inter-field coding in a case of a stationary picture and stable coding efficiency by the intra-field coding in a case of a moving picture.

摘要: A voice recognition program according to claim 1 makes a computer execute a start determining word recognizing step for checking whether a start determining word for a sentence recognition is inputted by voice or not, an end determining word recognizing step for checking whether an end determining word for the sentence recognition is inputted by voice or not after the voice input of the start determining word, and a sentence recognizing step for recognizing by voice an intermediate sentence between the start determining word and the end determining word when it is judged that the start determining word and the end determining word are inputted in the start determining word recognizing step and the end determining word recognizing step. Thereby, it simplifies an input work of a fixed sentence, that is applicable to a preparation of a medical record or the like, that improves usability for a user such as a doctor who is unused to a PC operation and that is able to reduce largely a labor and a time for inputting work of the doctor or the like.
