摘要： An exposure apparatus that emits light toward a latent-image bearing member configured to bear a latent image, the latent image formed on the latent-image bearing member being used in a developing process performed by a developing device. The exposure apparatus includes a first light-emitting unit including an organic electroluminescence element disposed along a main scanning direction of the latent-image bearing member, the first light-emitting unit emitting light toward the latent-image bearing member, and a second light-emitting unit disposed along the main scanning direction, the second light-emitting unit correcting an amount of light to which the latent-image bearing member is exposed in cooperation with the first light-emitting unit.

摘要： A sheet processing apparatus includes a heater, an irradiation unit, and a contact unit. The irradiation unit irradiates a sheet with heat rays from the heater to heat the sheet by radiant heat. The contact unit includes a member that heats a region of the sheet by coming into contact with the radiant heated sheet on a downstream side of the irradiation unit. A part of the heat rays output from the heater is radiated onto a part of a structure constituting the contact unit to raise a temperature of the member.

摘要： In a method for removing punched fragments in a workpiece formed using a punch and a die, the workpiece, which is tightly attached to a stripper, is lifted without extracting the punch from the perforations formed in the workpiece, subsequently pushing back the punch lifted from the die so as to make it protrude slightly from the bottommost end of the perforations, and performing an operation for removing punched fragments in that condition. The method for removing punched fragments can easily be performed even if only a very narrow space is available in a counterbore of a die, and can ensure that no punched fragments remain inside the perforations, and therefore can improve yield of a product being fabricated. A method for producing an article by punching inclusive of the method for removing the punched fragments is also disclosed herein.

摘要： A fabrication method of an industrial part having high-aspect-ratio through-hole sections using a punch and a die, includes: a first step of drilling a first hole section in a first sheet of sheet material with the punch; a second step of lifting the first sheet in tight contact with a stripper under a condition that the punch is not pulled out from the first hole section; a third step of lifting the punch so that a tip section of said punch is slightly drawn in from a bottom section of the lifted first sheet of sheet material; a fourth step of drilling a second hole section in a second sheet of sheet material with the punch; a fifth step of lifting the second sheet in tight contact with the first sheet under a condition that the punch is not pulled out from the second hole section; and a sixth step of lifting the punch so that a tip section of the punch is slightly drawn in from the bottom section of the lifted second sheet of sheet material. Subsequently, the fourth to sixth steps are repeated for lamination of a plurality of sheets of sheet material.
