摘要： Achieved is a motion picture reproducing apparatus at low price (being little increased in price even though the number of specifications are increased) capable of receiving motion picture streams complying with various specifications such as those containing programs that operate on different pieces of middleware, and reproducing motion pictures. A middleware storage unit 43 stores a plurality of different pieces of middleware. Based on program identification information contained in a motion picture stream received by the motion picture reproducing apparatus, an applicable middleware selecting unit 40 selects middleware applicable to a program contained in the motion picture stream. A middleware reading unit 41 reads the selected applicable middleware from the middleware storage unit 43. A middleware executing unit 42 executes the read middleware.

摘要： The present invention provides a magnetic head of which magnetic core is composed of thin plates of a high magnetic permeability, each provided with an adhesive layer comprising a granular substance. In such structure, the stress relaxation achieved by said granular substance prevents the loss of effective magnetic permeability of said core, thereby improving the high frequency characteristics. Also the presence of said granular substance realizes a hardness in the vicinity of said adhesive higher than that of said thin plates of a high magnetic permeability, thereby improving the abrasion resistance of said core. Furthermore said adhesive layer is rendered satisfactorily thinner than said thin plate to prevent the loss of sensitivity. Furthermore a fixing member for supporting said core is made of such a composition as to be evenly abraded with said core, thereby preventing deformation of the head resulting from abrasion by the recording medium and thus enabling to maintain the initial electromagnetic converting characteristics over a prolonged period.

摘要： In the case where plural applications are executed at the same time, if each application instructs for different trick play to the same content, a difference is caused between an ideal reproduction state expected by each application and an actual reproduction state. The present invention makes it possible to keep the reproduction state unchanged as long as normal reproduction or trick play is not accepted, by including a moving picture trick play reproduction management unit which determines, in response to an instruction for one of normal reproduction and trick play, whether or not to accept, according to a rule, the instruction, and retains details specified by the instruction in the case of accepting the instruction, and a moving picture reproduction processing unit which reproduces a moving picture based on the details retained by the moving picture trick play management unit.
