摘要: The present invention is an apparatus and a method for monitoring a sliding state of a piston ring. The present invention detects a cycle of rotation of a piston ring based on a temperature at a predetermined site of a cylinder liner, and determines a sign of burning of a piston based on a state of the rotation. As a result, it is possible to detect a sign of burning of a piston by an apparatus less expensive than apparatuses using a conventional technique of detecting a capacitance.

摘要: The present invention is an apparatus and a method for monitoring a sliding state of a piston ring. The present invention detects a cycle of rotation of a piston ring based on a temperature at a predetermined site of a cylinder liner, and determines a sign of burning of a piston based on a state of the rotation. 摘要: A pressure control valve provided on a terminal plate of a capacitor includes a filter, a valve body and a cap. The filter is provided so as to close a through-hole disposed in a terminal plate and is composed of a gas permeable sheet preventing permeation of the electrolyte solution. The valve body formed of an elastic material has a cylindrical part and a bottom part, and is disposed so that the bottom part covers the through-hole of the terminal plate. The cap is fixed to the terminal plate, covers the valve body and holds the valve body in a composed state with respect to the terminal plate. The cap is provided with a vent hole. The valve body and the filter are provided apart from each other.

摘要: A pressure regulating valve is provided on a terminal plate of a capacitor. This pressure regulating valve includes a gas permeable sheet, a valve body made of silicone rubber, a packing, and a cap. The gas permeable sheet that prevents permeation of electrolyte is provided so as to close a hole created in the terminal plate. The packing is interposed between the valve body and the gas permeable sheet, and is made of an elastic material with moisture permeation resistance higher than that of silicone rubber. The cap is fixed onto the terminal plate and covers the valve body and the packing such that the valve body and the packing are retained in a compressed state with respect to the terminal plate. The valve body and the packing are provided away from the gas permeable sheet.

摘要: A self-traveling vehicle without requiring guide wire for travel is provided which allows a change of a traveling course with little expense and labor for reconstruction. Such self-traveling vehicle comprises a storing means for storing a travel road to be traveled, a receiving means for receiving a signal from a satellite and a calculating means for calculating a current positional information based on the signals from the satellite. A controlling circuit for controlling the traveling drive and steering wheel drive provided in the vehicle controls the vehicle in such a manner as to travel on a predetermined set road by verifying the current positional information and the road to be traveled.

摘要: In an electric double-layer capacitor, resistance of a polarizable electrode layer is reduced and gas generation inside a case is suppressed in an attempt to improve reliability. On that account, an electric double-layer capacitor is provided, which is obtained by housing in a case, together with a driving electrolyte, a capacitor element wound with a separator interposed between electrodes being paired anode and cathode electrodes in each of which polarizable electrode layers are formed on and lead wires are fixed to both sides of a current collector made of metallic foil, such that the polarizable electrode layers are opposed to each other. Further, an electric double-layer capacitor is provided in which the lead wire is fixed to a polarizable-electrode-layer-removed section on the electrode where the polarizable electrode layer has been removed, and an area of the polarizable-electrode-layer-removed section is not smaller than 1 and not larger than 2.0 when a project area of a portion where the lead wire is connected with the current collector is set to 1.
