摘要: While comprising filled minor compartments being filled with an inclusion in which a liquid makes the major component, and vacant minor compartments being filled with the air, at least one of the vacant minor compartments adjoins the filled minor compartments, and a fragile section is formed in at least one of ribs that demarcate the filled minor compartments and the adjoining vacant minor compartments. After the fragile section has fractured, shock energy can be absorbed furthermore by means of circulation resistance to the inclusion that flows from the filled minor compartments to the vacant minor compartments.

摘要: A process for manufacturing a register for ventilating air includes molding a deflector member having a plurality of shafts and a plurality of first deflector plates. The deflector member is made from a first resin. A connector member, which holds the plurality of shafts rotatably and connects the first deflector plates swingably, is molded from a second resin that possess characteristics that prohibit it from fusing with the first resin. Next, a frame-shaped member, made from a third resin and having a plurality of second deflector plates, is molded by the process. Then, the deflector member, which includes the connector member, is assembled with the frame-shaped member. A knob for operating the first deflector plates can be molded integrally with one of the first deflector plates.

摘要: A container holder device including a case which is installed in a body of a vehicle, the case having a pair of generally vertical side walls defining a part of a storage chamber. A base is pivotally supported by the case so as to be movable between a stored position and a use position. At least one movable arm has one end supported by the base so as to be movable with respect to the base to contact a periphery of a container when the base and the at least one arm are in the use position. The at least one arm is guided to move from an outside to an inside of at least one of the side walls upon movement of the base from the use position to the stored position so that the at least one arm contacts the at least one wall in the storage position. Urging structure is provided for urging the at least one arm toward the outside of the at least one side wall.

摘要: A holder includes an outer member, an inner member, an urging member and a locking mechanism. The outer member is box-shaped and has an opening defined therein. The inner member is supported in the outer member, so that the inner member can be moved in and out through the opening. The urging member is provided between the outer and inner members and urges the inner member outwardly relative to the opening. The locking mechanism selectively locking the inner member in the outer member. An object to be held is placed in the inner member. The holder is characterized in that the inner member has hinge portions and L-bent portions at ends thereof adjacent the opening so that the L-bent portions extend from the hinge portions and can be swung thereabout; when the inner member is moved inwardly relative to the outer member, the L-bent portions is pushed by an inside surface of the outer member so that the L-bent portions are swung inward and hold an object in the inner member; and when the inner member is moved outwardly relative to the outer member, the L-bent portions are swung outwardly so that the object can be removed from the holder.
