    摘要： A heat pipe wherein a condensable liquid phase working fluid is encapsulated in a container sealed in air-tight condition; wherein the wick composed of the porous body for refluxing the liquid phase working fluid by a capillary pressure is provided in the container; wherein a part of the container functions as an evaporating part for evaporating the working fluid by means of inputting the heat from outside; and wherein another part of the container functions as a condensing part for condensing a vapor of the working fluid by means of radiating the heat to the outside; comprises a direct reflux flow passage for flowing the liquid phase working fluid to the evaporating part, which has a flow cross-sectional area greater than that of a cavity formed in the porous body.

    摘要： A heat pipe for transferring heat as the latent heat of evaporation to a radiating portion at a lower temperature by heating a heating portion of a container to evaporate a working fluid and by conveying the produced vapor to the radiating portion thereby to condense the vapor. The container is formed into a flattened hollow shape by: a flat heating portion; a radiating portion opposed at a distance to the heating portion and having a larger area than that of the heating portion; and side wall portions jointing the heating portion and the radiating portion to each other along the entire peripheral edge portions of the same.

    摘要： A cooling device for a notebook personal computer which has a personal computer body accommodating an exothermic electronic element and a display hinged in an openable/closable manner to the personal computer body through a hinge mechanism, including a first heat pipe having a first end portion arranged along the display and a second end portion arranged in parallel with a center line of rotation of said hinge mechanism; a second heat pipe having a first end portion arranged on the electronic element in a heat transferable manner and a second end portion arranged in thermal contact with the second end portion of said first heat pipe; and a connector defining a first hole having an axis and configured to receive the second portion of the first heat pipe, a second hole having an axis different from the axis of the first hole and configured to receive the second portion of the second heat pipe, the first and second holes communicating with each other; wherein at least one of the second end portions is positioned on the center line of rotation of the hinge mechanism. The connector and one of the heat pipes, having a relatively rotatable second end portion, can form a hinge between the personal computer body and the display.
