Abstract: A transflective optical plate including a polarization conversion unit, an optical film, and a transparent protective layer is provided. The polarization conversion unit is adapted to change a polarization state of a polarized image light and includes a combiner. The optical film is disposed on the combiner. The transparent protective layer is disposed on the optical film, and the optical film is located between the combiner and the transparent protective layer. A display system is also provided.

An orthographic projection of the first optical axis on the first polarizing film is parallel to an axial direction of the first transmission axis, and a first included angle between the first optical axis and the first polarizing film is greater than 0 degrees and less than 90 degrees. A display device is also provided.

Abstract: A viewing angle switchable display apparatus including a display panel, an electrically controlled viewing angle switching device, an electrically controlled light scattering switching device, and a backlight module is provided. The electrically controlled viewing angle switching device includes two first transparent substrates, two first transparent conductive layers, a liquid crystal layer, and a first polarizer located on a side of the electrically controlled viewing angle switching device which is far away from the display panel. The liquid crystal layer includes liquid crystal molecules, and optical axes of the liquid crystal molecules are parallel or perpendicular to a transmission axis of the first polarizer. The electrically controlled light scattering switching device is located between the display panel and the backlight module and includes two second transparent substrates, two second transparent conductive layers, and an electronically controlled polymer material layer.

Abstract: A viewing angle control device including at least one liquid crystal panel, at least one compensation film and polarizers is provided. Each of the at least one liquid crystal panel includes two transparent conductive layers and liquid crystal molecules. The polarizers include at least one first polarizer and a second polarizer. The at least one first polarizer is located between the at least one compensation film and the at least one liquid crystal panel. The second polarizer is located at a side of the at least one liquid crystal panel, the at least one compensation film and the at least one first polarizer. When there is no potential difference between the transparent conductive layers, an optical axis of each of the liquid crystal molecules is parallel or vertical to a transmission axis of the at least one first polarizer. A viewing angle controllable display apparatus is also provided.

Abstract: A reflectance-adjustable reflector including a phase modulation element and a first polarizer is provided. The phase modulation element includes a first substrate, a second substrate opposite to the first substrate, a phase modulation layer located between the first substrate and the second substrate, a first electrode layer located between the first substrate and the phase modulation layer, and a second electrode layer located between the second substrate and the phase modulation layer. Thicknesses of the first substrate and the second substrate are between 0.01 mm and 0.5 mm. The first polarizer is disposed on the first substrate. The first substrate is located between the first polarizer and the first electrode layer. A total thickness of the phase modulation element and the first polarizer is less than 1 mm. A reflectance-adjustable display device is also provided.

Abstract: A backlight module includes a light guide plate, a light source, a prism sheet and a reflective structure. The light guide plate includes a light emitting surface, a bottom surface opposite to the light emitting surface, a light incident surface connected with the light emitting surface and the bottom surface and a plurality of micro structures located on the bottom surface or the light emitting surface. The light source is disposed beside the light incident surface of the light guide plate. The prism sheet is disposed above the light emitting surface of the light guide plate, and includes a plurality of prisms facing the light emitting surface. The reflective structure is disposed under the bottom surface of the light guide plate. The reflective structure has a characteristic of changing its reflectivity according to a control signal applied thereto.
