A method of reproducing information from an optical disc, and an optical disc reproducing apparatus using the method, including reproducing information from an optical disc having a plurality of regions with differing physical specifications, the information is read using optical beams having differing spot sizes in regions of the optical disc having differing physical specifications. The method enables the optical disc having the regions with differing physical specifications to stably reproduce information from all regions of the optical disc by minimizing regional reproduction performance differences caused in the reproduction process.

The photo detecting element also has a third sensitivity controller connected to the optical detecting element for monitoring optical power, and a switching part to enable selective use of the third sensitivity controller for control of the optical power signal instead of the second sensitivity controller according to an external switching control signal. Accordingly, optical power equal to or exceeding three lights can be monitored using an optical detecting element having the monitoring capability of monitoring the optical power of two lights.

The infusion solution is temporarily stored in elastic tube by the supply pump which is set to on/off by the micro-computer, and then injected to a human body with constant pressure through the contractile force of the elastic tube. Background plasma electrons in a laser wake field are trapped and accelerated using a sharp downward density transition. A short and intense laser pulse travels through low density plasma with a sharp downward density transition. The density transition scale length is much smaller than the wavelength of a laser wake wave. As the laser wake wave passes the density transition, its wavelength increases suddenly so that some background plasma electrons are self-injected into the acceleration phase of the wake field and trapped and accelerated by the strong laser wake field.
