摘要： A method for application layer gateway (ALG) assisted local IP access (LIPA) at a base station by network address translation (NAT) allows IP capable UEs connected via HeNB or other kinds of Femto cell base station to use LIPA to establish multimedia session with other IP capable entities in the same IP network by NAT. The method relays a LIPA request to IMS, determines whether the terminating entity residing in the same IP network or not, and determines if the originating and terminating entities are allowed to use LIPA, and modifies the transport address information accordingly to facilitate signaling and packet routing. The method also provides the capability to apply different charging policies for LIPA and non-LIPA usages.

摘要： A method for providing a multicast and broadcast service (MBS) by transmitting a plurality of data frames in a wireless network. The method includes: generating a first MBS data information element (MBS-DATA-IE) in a first one of the data frames, the first MBS-DATA-IE including information relating to a logical channel of the MBS, and indicating a location of an MBS map (MBS-MAP) in a second one of the data frames; determining ones of the data frames between the first and second ones of the data frames in which to add a plurality of extra MBS-DATA-IEs; and generating the extra MBS-DATA-IEs, the extra MBS-DATA-IEs being generated in the determined ones of the data frames and including information relating to the logical channel.

The method includes assigning to a boundary paging group a first base station communicating within the MBS zone and near a boundary of the MBS zone. The method further includes transmitting, through a second base station which covers a mobile station, to the mobile station information indicating that the boundary paging group corresponds to locations near the boundary of the MBS zone.

摘要： The present invention relates to a system and method for supporting inter-NAT-domain handoff in a VPN by associating L2TP and mobile IP. A mobile node is able to roam from an Intranet to a foreign network, and implement a VPN by L2TP. The Intranet has a VPN gateway and a home agent corresponding to the mobile node. The foreign network has a NAT gateway. An L2TP (PPP) tunnel passing the NAT gateway is established between the mobile node in the foreign network and the VPN gateway. The L2TP (PPP) tunnel has a first terminal on the VPN gateway, with an address set to the home agent's IP address, and a second terminal on the mobile node, with an address set to the mobile node's CoA.

摘要： The present invention provides a system using label switching techniques to support QoS for mobile ad-hoc networks and its label distributing and switching method. The system includes plural clusters, each having plural mobile nodes. At least one mobile node in a cluster is selected as a routing agent. One routing agent in a cluster is selected as a core routing agent. Each core routing agent is capable of obtaining an unique seed for generating an label L=f(S, i, j)=S×3i×2j to a new LSP, where S is an unique seed that is an unique prime number, except 2 and 3, obtained by the core routing agent, i represents one of different kinds of LSP, and j represents one of different numbers for the same kind of LSP. Through the interconnecting of core routing agents, the virtual backbones can be constructed for bandwidth sharing.

In one embodiment, the proposed method may include following: a network device, receiving and storing capillary network information and MTC gateway interconnection information from at least one MTC server; combining the access network information with the capillary network information and the MTC gateway interconnection information to build an aggregated topology map; generating enhanced policy rules according to the aggregated topology map related to at least one capillary network; and respectively transmitting the enhanced policy rules to the interconnected MTC gateways.
