摘要: A serial printer for recording with a recording head while synchronizing with a movement of a carriage reciprocated on an apparatus body and on which the recording head is mounted. A position of a linear encoder is detected by a detecting portion. A detecting signal from this detecting portion is compared with a reference voltage, and a pulse output as a synchronous signal is generated. A duty of this pulse output is adjusted to obtain a well-recorded result.

摘要: Data processing method and apparatus for converting data such as character data or image data of a resolution X into data of a resolution Y which are effective for use in, particularly, a recording apparatus such as an ink jet printer or the like. The data processing method comprises a first dividing step of dividing the data of the resolution X in the main-scan direction every A bits; a first converting step of converting the divided A-bit data into the B-bit data of the bit number B by using a first conversion pattern table; a second dividing step of dividing the data which was obtained by repeating the conversion by the first converting step by a number of times as many as a plurality of lines in the sub-scan direction every A bits; a second converting step of converting the divided A-bit data into the B-bit data of the bit number B by using a second conversion pattern table; and a reducing step of reducing the data of the resolution Y obtained by the second converting step by a thinning process by using a third conversion pattern table.

摘要: A drum type washing and drying machine has a water tank (4), a rotary drum rotatably provided in the water tank (5), a dehumidifying heat exchanger for dehumidifying air introduced from inside of the rotary drum (5), a heater unit for heating the air dehumidified by the dehumidifying heat exchanger, and a blower (131) for introducing the air in the rotary drum (5) into the dehumidifying heat exchanger and delivering into the rotary drum (5) the air heated by the heater unit. A filter (160) is placed in a suction-side channel between the rotary drum (5) and the blower and on an upstream side of air flow produced by the blower (131) in a drying process. The filter (160) is placed so as to be soaked in water supplied into the water tank in a washing process or in a rinsing process.

摘要: The present invention relates to an imaging data server. The imaging data server acquires a plurality of types of imaging data pertaining to a plurality of objects of surveillance and transmits the acquired imaging data to a monitoring station over a network. The imaging data server comprises determination section for determining whether or not a change has arisen in the status of each of the objects of surveillance pertaining to a plurality of types of the imaging data; and a priority transmission section for transmitting, to the monitoring station, imaging data pertaining to an object of surveillance in which the status change is determined to have arisen by the determination section, with a higher priority than that utilized in the case of imaging data pertaining to an object of surveillance in which no status change is determined to have arisen.

摘要: It is an object of the present invention to prevent a sheet of continuous-form paper from slackening when it is fed back in a printer capable of feeding both sheets of continuous-form paper and cut-form paper. According to the method for feeding back a sheet of continuous-form paper (6) of the present invention, in a paper feed unit including a pin feed device (7) arranged in an upstream of the continuous-form paper feed passage and also including a friction feed device (4, 5) in which both the pin feed device (7) and the friction feed device (4, 5) feed the sheet of continuous-form paper (6) and a circumferential speed of the friction feed device (4, 5) is a little higher than that of the pin feed device (7), a first amount of feed is set by which the sheet of continuous-form paper is not loosened between the friction feed device (4, 5) and the pin feed device (7) and also a second amount of feed is set which is larger than a difference between an amount of feed of the friction feed device (4, 5) and an amount of feed of the pin feed device (7) when the sheet of continuous-form paper is fed back by the first amount of feed, and the sheet of continuous-form paper is fed back by the first amount of feed when both the friction feed device (4, 5) and the pin feed device (7) are simultaneously reversed, and the friction feed device (4, 5) is normally rotated by the second feed amount under the condition that the pin feed device is stopped. The sheet of continuous-form paper (6) is fed back by repeating the above reverse and the normal rotation.

摘要: A color image forming apparatus provided with a developing device for developing an electrostatic latent image formed on a latent image bearing member. The developing device comprises a plurality of developing units and supporting members for supporting the developing units thereon, and an arrangement is such that any developing units can be installed detachably on any supporting members each other. Then, the developing units have a developer supplying mechanism for feeding a developer each, and a supplemental developer container can be connected to each developer supplying mechanism. Then, the supplemental developer container is connected to one developing unit, and the developing unit provided with the supplemental developer is installed on a predetermined supporting member. The remaining developing units free from the supplemental developer container are then installed on the remaining supporting members. Accordingly, by connecting the supplemental developer container to a developing unit of the color to be consumed relatively more than the others and installing such developing unit on a predetermined supporting member, the developer of a desired color can be contained highly satisfactorily without constructing the color image forming apparatus entirely in a large size.
