摘要： A steering wheel for motor vehicles which is composed of a steering wheel base covered with a skin material of: (I) 10-50 parts by weight of a polyethylene resin (A); and (II) 90-50 parts by weight of a block copolymer (B) including a polymer block (a) of styrene or a derivative thereof and an isoprene polymer block or an isoprene-butadiene copolymer block (b), the polymer or copolymer block containing 40% or higher of isoprene units bonded at 3,4- position relative to the total isoprene units and 97% or more of the double bonds having been hydrogenated, (the total amount of the components (A) and (B) is 100 parts by weight). The skin material for the steering wheel is a soft, injection-moldable thermoplastic olefin elastomer composition having a low specific gravity and good wear resistance, which is capable of recycling and gives excellent feel of touch.

摘要： The surface of a signal electrode is treated as substrate treatment. For example, an oxide film on the surface of the signal electrode is removed for roughing, and the roughened surface is used as a surface treated face. A coating of a fluororesin is provided on the surface treated face for lining or thermal welding to the lining material. A signal electrode is provided in the resin lining. Since the oxide film has been removed from the surface of the signal electrode for roughening, the adhesive force of the coating of the fluororesin is increased. The fluororesin coating and the resin lining melt each other, and, as a result, the fluororesin coating is strongly bonded to the resin lining, whereby the adhesion between the signal electrode and the resin lining can be increased without opening a hole in the signal electrode. A method may also be adopted in which a primer film is formed by substrate treatment on the surface of the signal electrode.

摘要： An optical apparatus to be used for digital still cameras for setting any one of a plurality of lenses in a picture taking (image capturing) position comprising a lens turret rotatable around an axis and having the lenses mounted thereon, a driving mechanism to rotate the lens turret so that one of the lenses can be set at the picture taking position and a means to adjust and extend the back focal length of the lens shaped like a column or square column and made of glass, plastic or the like that has higher refraction index than that of air. By said means of back focal length adjustment, the position of the lens with shorter focal length can be fixed on the lens turret moving apart from the image sensor like CCD or C-MOS upward without changing its focal length itself, and fixed at the same level thereon as the lens with longer focal length. With this adjustment of back focal length, the lenses can be fixed on the turret as closely as possible with each other, yet any part of one lens does not cut in or disturb any part of light path of the other lens. Consequently the total size of lens turret could be minimized.

The image data received is stored in the memory means. When the inter-connected mode is selected, each of the other copying apparatus forms images on the basis of the image data received according to the determined allotment conditions. When one of the plurality of copying apparatus in the inter-connected mode during image forming operation becomes unable to form images, the control means determines new allotment conditions for the image formation with the other operable copying apparatus to form image which have not been formed among images allotted to the one of the copying apparatus.

摘要： There is provided a thermoplastic olefin elastomer of polyblend composed of 30 to 70 wt % of ethylene-propylene-diene terpolymer (EPDM), 10 to 30 wt % of ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer (EVA), and 20 to 50 wt % of polypropylene (PP). The EPDM is specified by the Mooney viscosity, propylene content, and third component. The EVA is specified by the VA content and number-average molecular weight. The PP is specified by the number-average molecular weight. This elastomer is suitable for use as a raw material for automotive exterior trim such as side molding, bumper, and mud guard which are produced by injection molding. The elastomer also affords molded items having a good matte-finished appearance. The polyblend obviates the process for partial crosslinking which was necessary for the preparation of conventional elastomer for injection molding.

摘要： A steering wheel is disclosed, which is produced by injection molding a resin composition comprising (i) a crosslinked vinyl chloride polymer having a gel fraction of at least 20% and a non-gelled portion having an average polymerization degree of from 2000 to 3000, (ii) a non-crosslinked vinyl chloride homopolymer having an average polymerization degree of from 800 to 1000, and (iii) a liquid plasticizer, wherein the weight ratio of polymer component (i) to polymer component (ii) is from 50/50 to 80/20 and (iii) the amount of liquid plasticizer is from 70 to 130 parts by weight per 100 parts by weight of the total amount of the two polymers (i) and (ii). The steering wheel has excellent properties with respect to uniformity in matte surface, wear resistance and lightfastness.
