    摘要： Provided is a steering wheel pad made of a soft vinyl chloride resin composition. The soft vinyl chloride resin composition is 100 parts by weight of a vinyl chloride resin, 20 to 150 parts by weight of a thermoplastic aliphatic polyurethane, and 60 to 150 parts by weight of an alkyl phthalic ester having the following chemical formula: ##STR1## wherein m and n are 7 to 9. The alkyl phtalic ester has a linear chain ratio of an ester group of 80% or more.

    摘要： A cover pad for an air bag device, a main body of which is molded into a single layer using a resin/elastomer blend. The resin/elastomer blend is made by blending PP with an elastomer in a ratio ranging from 60/40 to 40/60 by weight. The elastomer is made by blending an EPM with a styrene-containing thermoplastic elastomer in a ratio ranging from 80/20 to 20/80 by weight. In addition, copolymerization of the EPM produces a propylene content ranging from 21 to 40 mol %; 3 mol %.ltoreq.P-P.ltoreq. 12 mol %; and 35 mol %.ltoreq.E-P.ltoreq.50 mol % (where P-P is the dyad chain configuration (.sup.13 C-NMR) of the propylene-propylene bond; and E-P is the dyad chain configuration (.sup.13 C-NMR) of the ethylene-propylene bond).

    摘要： A heat-resistant molded instrument panel article having a decorative appearance, produced at a relatively low cost, wherein the instrument panel article comprises a main body molded from a first synthetic resin, a section piece molded from a second synthetic resin such that the periphery of the section piece is partially or entirely surrounded by the main body, with the upper outer surface of the section piece abutting the upper outer surface of the main body, so that such surfaces form a single, level surface. A surface layer continuously covers the surface of the section piece and at least part of the surface of the main body. The main body is made of a first synthetic resin having an elastic modulus in flexure in a range of about 2,000 MPa to about 4,000 MPa and a coefficient of linear thermal expansion of about 3-12.times.10.sup.-5 .degree. C..sup.-1. The section piece is made of a second synthetic resin having an elastic modulus in flexure in a range of about 100 MPa to 700 MPa and a coefficient of linear thermal expansion of about 1-10.times.10.sup.-5 .degree. C..sup.-1. The surface layer is made of a third synthetic resin having an elastic modulus in flexure ranging from about 300 MPa to about 2,000 MPa and a coefficient of linear thermal expansion of about 3-12.times.10.sup.-5 .degree. C..sup.-1.
