Abstract:
A circuit board of an ink cartridge is provided with a plurality of terminals, with the contact portions of the plurality of terminals forming a plurality of lines. The contact portions of two terminals used for detecting installation are positioned in a first line, and the contact portion of a power terminal is positioned between the two terminals. The first line may be positioned to a leading side when the ink cartridge is moved in a prescribed direction to effect installation in a printer. Alternatively, the first line may be the line closest to an opening of an ink delivery port. Alternatively, the first line may be the line closest to an ink delivery needle.
Abstract:
A cartridge includes a casing, a printing material containing portion, a printing material flow path and first and second insertion holes formed in a front face of the casing. A rod used for detection of the out-of-printing material state is inserted into the first insertion hole, and a printing material supply tube is inserted into the second insertion hole. The first insertion hole is located on the front face at a middle position between a first side face and a second side face of the casing.

Disclosed are an oxide superconductor tape and a method of manufacturing the oxide superconductor tape capable of improving the length and characteristics of superconductor tape and obtaining stabilized characteristics across the entire length thereof. A Y-class superconductor tape (10), as an oxide superconductor tape, comprises a tape (13) further comprising a tape-shaped non-oriented metallic substrate (11), and a first buffer layer (sheet layer) (12) that is formed by IBAD upon the tape-shaped non-oriented metallic substrate (11); and a second buffer layer (gap layer) (14), further comprising a lateral face portion (14a) that is extended to the lateral faces of the first buffer layer (sheet layer) (12) upon the tape (13) by RTR RF-magnetron sputtering.
Abstract:
In a monitoring system, a first device among devices includes a generating unit that generates third data indicating a string of an identical section when strings each indicated in first data and second data acquired through communications with the devices are identical to each other by a predetermined proportion or more, and a first transmitting unit that transmits the third data generated by the generating unit and information for identifying the third data to a second device included in the devices. The second device includes a second transmitting unit that transmits, when a string indicated in fourth data to be transmitted to the first device includes the string indicated in the third data, fifth data indicating a string obtained by excluding the string indicated in the third data from the string indicated in the fourth data, and the information for identifying the third data to the first device.
Abstract:
A printing apparatus includes a recording head that prints an image and an ink cartridge that stores ink to the recording head. The ink cartridge includes an ink pack and an ink-end sensor that detects an ink-end point based on the pressure of ink supplied from the ink pack. The ink pressure corresponding to the ink-end point detected by the ink-end sensor is set to a first pressure that is the minimum pressure near an outlet of the ink cartridge at which the recording head can print an image of predetermined quality. A determining unit permits starting of a printing or cleaning operation in response to a command issued before the ink-end sensor detects the ink-end point and prohibits starting of a printing or cleaning operation in response to a command issued after the ink-end sensor has detected the ink-end point.
Abstract:
There is provided a rotation transmission assembly that can be produced in large quantities and at low cost and has an anti-rotation function and an anti-release function. This rotation transmission assembly has a rotation transmission member formed in a substantially circular plate configuration, in a center of which there is a substantially circular cylinder shaped through hole that is formed by an inner circumferential surface, and that includes a rotation transmission portion located on an outer circumferential portion of the rotation transmission member; and an inner side member that is press-inserted into the through hole, wherein the inner circumferential surface of the rotation transmission member is provided with: a smooth ring-shaped surface that is placed adjacent to one end of the inner circumferential surface; and a plurality of protrusion shaped portions that, taking the ring-shaped surface as a basis, protrude inwards in the radial direction, and extend along a portion of the length in the axial direction of the through hole, and wherein the inner side member and the rotation transmission member mesh with each other within the range in which the protrusion shaped portions extend, and are in surface contact with each other within a range in which the ring-shaped surface extends.

This invention provides a production process of a thick-film tape-shaped RE-type (123) superconductor having a high critical current value. The production process comprises providing a composite substrate comprising Gd2Zr2O7 and CeO2 stacked in that order onto a Hastelloy substrate, coating a raw material solution prepared by dissolving a trifluoroacetate of Y and Ba and a naphthenate of Cu onto the composite substrate, heat treating the coated composite substrate by calcination, then subjecting the calcined assembly to intermediate heat-treatment at a temperature below the temperature of heat-treatment for superconductor production, and then heat treating the assembly in an argon gas atmosphere under conditions of highest heating temperature 760° C., water vapor partial pressure 13.5%, and oxygen partial pressure 0.09% for superconductor production to produce a tape-shaped RE-type (123) superconductor comprising a YBCO superconducting film having a thickness of more than about 2 μm.
