    摘要: A disk drive is provided for restraining deterioration of the verticality of the optical axis of an optical pickup in relation to the surface of the disk when the side of the disk to be scanned for the recording and/or reproducing action is alternated from one side to the other side, in recording and/or reproducing data signals on both sides of the disk. The disk drive (1) includes a turn table (11) on which a disk D is rotatably supported, a pickup (12) for recording and/or reproducing data signals on both sides of the disk D rotated by the turn table (11), and a disk tray (31) for transferring the disk D between a recording and reproducing position which confronts the turn table (11) and a loading and unloading position at the outside of the disk drive (1). A turning movement mechanism is provided for turning the turn table (11) and the pickup (12) at once from a first position which confronts the one side of the disk D to a second position which confronts the other side of the disk D or vice versa.

The trigger member has a rotation shaft portion serving as a rotation center, a disk contact portion to be contacted with the disk, and a pressing portion for pressing the slide cam member, and the centering member is provided movably in a disk conveying direction by being contacted with and pressed by the conveyed disk, and has a guide portion for moving the rotation shaft portion of the trigger member in accordance with movement in the disk conveying direction.

    摘要: A disk device is provided with a pair of slide cam members that start movement when a disk is conveyed to a replayable position, and a pair of clamper lifters respectively having clamper support portions supporting a clamper. The clamper lifters are moved in opposite directions to each other in a horizontal direction orthogonal to a thickness direction of the disk device in conjunction with the movement of the pair of slide cam members. They are arranged so that the timings of the start of movement in the opposite directions to each other are different from each other. The clamper support portions have inclined surfaces in contact with an outer peripheral part of the clamper so as to move the clamper in the thickness direction of the disk device in accordance with the movement of the pair of clamper lifters in the opposite directions to each other.

    摘要: A cartridge adaptor accommodates a second cartridge which is smaller than a first cartridge so as to allow the second cartridge to be mounted in a disk apparatus designed to receive the first cartridge. The cartridge adaptor includes a shutter opener engageable with a shutter opener of the disk apparatus to open and close a shutter of the second cartridge, a projection engageable with a recess of the second cartridge to restrict insertion direction of the second cartridge into the disk apparatus, and a conveying member which is inserted into a transmission aperture formed in correspondence with an identification hole formed in the second cartridge, thereby opening and closing a detection hole of the cartridge adaptor formed at a corresponding position to an identification hole of the first cartridge. When the cartridge adaptor accommodating the second cartridge is mounted in the disk apparatus, the shutter of the second cartridge is opened, and the information on a disk housed in the second cartridge provided by the identification hole is correctly detected by the disk apparatus.

    摘要: There is provided a disk device that prevents entering of foreign matters, and that forms an opening/closing lid using an inclined surface of a front wall so that the disk device has a design according to which the thickness is not noticeable. A front wall 1a of an outer case 1 includes an inclined surface whose front part is inclined downward. An opening portion 1b is provided to the front wall 1a of the outer case 1, and a lid 2 that covers the opening portion 1b while allowing it to be opened or closed is provided. The lid 2 is configured to move, by rotating about a rotation shaft provided in a direction crossing a disk conveyance direction, between a closed lid position 2A in which the lid is flush with the inclined surface such that a disk insertion opening 1c is not exposed to the outside and an open lid position 2B in which the disk insertion opening 1c is exposed to the outside and a disk 200 is guided to the disk insertion opening 1c.
