摘要: A printer having a first memory for storing character data representative of lines of characters to be printed on a recording medium, a second memory for storing line-space data representative of a line spacing between the lines of characters, and a control device for activating a print head according to the character data stored in the first memory, and controlling the print head and a paper feed device according to the line-space data stored in the second memory, to underscore at least one of the characters of the printed lines. The position of the underscore is controlled such that a distance between the underscore and the underscored characters is varied depending upon the line spacing represented by the line-space data.

摘要: An ejection part (3) in an inkjet printer (1) has ejection mechanisms (31a to 31d) for ejecting fine droplets of colored ink and an ejection mechanism (32) for ejecting fine droplets of clear ink, and a colored image is formed on a colored image print area of print medium (9) by the ejection mechanisms (31a to 31d). By the ejection mechanism (32), the colored image on the print medium (9) is coated with the clear ink and a code image is formed on a blank area around the colored image print area. In the inkjet printer (1), since the coating of the colored image and the forming of the code image are performed with the same clear ink ejected from the one ejection mechanism (32), improvement of wear resistance and improvement of security of the colored image can be achieved while reducing manufacturing cost of the apparatus of the inkjet printer (1).

摘要: A figure digitizing system is described which reduces the operator's labor and enables even unskilled operators to digitize figures easily and accurately. The operator places a drawing to be read on an image information reader and points to characteristic points of the drawing by means of a cursor equipped with an image reader. A CPU operates in accordance with a program loaded from an external memory unit to determine the coordinates of the characteristic points and to display marks of the characteristic points on a display unit. The operator enters the drawing into the system while viewing the marks of characteristic points displayed on the display unit.

摘要: An electronic learning machine having an input unit for inputting data relating to a specific student. When the data relating to the student is entered by the input unit, a select unit selects the scholastic achievement data related to the student from a first storage unit. A control unit then selects, when so directed, problem information matching the student's scholastic ability from problem information at all difficulty levels stored in a second storage unit and displays the selected problems on the display or on a printing paper. Thus, the student is faced with problems at a difficulty level matching his/her scholastic ability to enhance learning.

摘要: An image recording apparatus (1) causes a recording head (20) to move through a distance corresponding to one half of the recording width of the recording head (20) in a sub-scanning direction each time a recording drum (10) makes one rotation. This, light emitting devices (23, 24) record two line data in advance, and thereafter following light emitting devices (21, 22) record the same line data repeatedly at the same position. This increases the energy of laser light beams given to a recording position on a printing plate (P) to accomplish the recording of an image with reliability. The recording speed is not extremely decreased because not all light emitting devices (21 to 24) are used to make the repeated recordings at the same position on the printing plate (P). Further, the construction of optical systems and driving systems in the image recording apparatus is not complicated.

摘要: The present invention provides a removing method of a tube. Upon removing a tube 3 increased in diameter and fixed to a tube-sheet 1, an inserted portion 3a which is fixed to a tube-hole 2 of the tube-sheet 1 is heated and then cooled, thereby reducing its diameter. The inserted portion 3a is loosened from the tube-hole 2. Then, a region 3h opposed to a groove 4 formed in an inner circumference of the tube-hole is heated to a red-hot state, and the tube 3 is stretched in its axial direction, the red-heated region 3h is stretched to reduce its diameter and cut the region 3h, thereby pulling out the tube 3 from the tube-sheet 1.

摘要: [Problem]To provide a light diffusing sheet which enables the light from a lightguide plate or light source of the backlight unit to be conducted to lens film after having been converted to diffused light having a small brightness peak angle, and which generates neither a moiré or interference fringe nor luminance unevenness, and is advantageous also from the standpoints of productivity and cost, and to provide a backlight unit having this light diffusing sheet incorporated therein. [Means for Solution]The invention is composed of a light diffusing sheet 10 comprising a light-transmitting resin, characterized by having fine recesses formed in at least one of the surfaces 2 thereof, the fine recesses 3 having a shape which is any of the shape of an inverted polyangular pyramid, the shape of an inverted truncated polyangular pyramid, the shape of an inverted cone, and the shape of an inverted truncated cone. brightness peak angle of diffused light is reduced, which restrains both a moiré and interference fringe, according to light refraction due to inclined face of fine recess 3 or a taper face. The invention is composed of a backlight unit characterized by including the light diffusing sheet and has been disposed on upper side of lightguide plate 20, or in front of a light source, so that that surface of the sheet which has fine recesses formed therein serves as a light emission side.

摘要: In a halftone image formed on a printing plate for letterpress printing, a minimum halftone dot has a square main cluster consisting of 9 pixels and four sub-clusters located around the main cluster radially, each of which is one pixel. Each sub-cluster contacts with only a vertex of the main cluster. Convex portions corresponding to the minimum halftone dots in the halftone image are formed on the printing plate. A convex portion corresponding to the main cluster is supported by convex portions corresponding to the sub-clusters to increase the strength of relief corresponding to the minimum halftone dot. Reliefs corresponding to the minimum halftone dots are normally formed regardless of a dot area rate of highlight area to thereby improve reproduction in printing of the halftone image.
