    摘要: In a sensor node SN driven by a secondary battery, a charge/discharge control circuit can be realized and an unnecessary circuit in the sensor node can be eliminated for its miniaturization. The charge/discharge control circuit and the sensor node have a comparator for monitoring a battery voltage, a control circuit for converting an output of the comparator into an interrupt signal, a micro controller for performing charge/discharge control only when detecting the interrupt signal, and a switch turned ON or OFF under control of the micro controller. When the battery voltage is not lower than a first predetermined voltage, the switch is turned OFF to thereby stop charging operation. When the battery voltage is not higher than a second predetermined voltage, the switch is turned OFF to stop discharging operation. A circuit necessary in a charge mode is provided in a charger side.

    摘要: This invention achieves lower electric power consumption of a sensor node for carrying out an intermittent operation, in a sensor net system. A time when the sensor node transmits a signal to a base station is estimated. Then, in accordance with the estimation, a table for storing a signal transmitted from the sensor node is installed in a wireless section of the base station. Consequently, a communication time between the sensor node and the base station can be made shorter. Also, a start time of a micro computer is set for RTC inside the sensor node, so the micro computer inside the sensor node can be put in the standby state.

    摘要: In a network system in which a large number of terminals that transmit information exist and data extraction is performed via a wide area network, when data filtering is performed by using terminals called entrance nodes, existing in front of the wide area network, efficient operation of the entrance nodes is a goal to achieve. In one implementation, when an entrance node has detected an alteration to a configuration of diverse resources attached to it, it updates management information by communicating with other entrance nodes existing in the neighborhood. In a further implementation, through a query and reply exchange about allocations of filtering and quick response processes to be executed by entrance nodes, reallocating process items, pre-filtering of necessary data, and relaying data between entrance nodes are performed.

The fluctuation measurement module determines an accuracy of a time contained in the received time synchronization packet based on a result of comparison between the time contained in the received time synchronization packet and a time of the clock.
